Continue ReadingTrinity’s Mikal Shank Jr. Mikal Shank Jr. 6’3″ | 190 lbs | QB Trinity CH | 2027 State PA got his feet wet last camp, he’s going to come even more confident than before. A candidate to win camp MVP, which might surprise some, won’t surprise me. Didn’t get the chance to see him work at our 7v7, I’ll be able to analyze him a bit further with two sessions of time to evaluate. The book is out on all things Shank, so I want to see something new this go around. I want to see how he controls his surroundings, I want to see how he communicates with unknown faces. I want to see if there’s growth/development in his feet/mechanics. This will likely be the last time I see Shank up close until the Fall season begins, I want to be left with a great impression moving toward September.

A top 100 two-way player in his class (2026). On the lower end of the 2026 rankings, Jim Thorpe’s Joshua Louk Joshua Louk 5’9″ | 165 lbs | ATH Jim Thorpe | 2026 State PA comes into the event with plenty to prove, plenty of room for growth on our lists. That should be the least of his worries in my opinion. Promising track sprinter, great GPA (4.1), Louk stationing at DB drills will likely help him stand out. Louk can work at WR or DB, yet seeing him do what he can against some special wideouts in the building is likely the best route he could take to turn heads in his favor. Want to see him more active on socials, the sophomore will become an upperclass in a couple months time.

Ryker Kennedy
Ryker Kennedy
An unranked prospect showing up to work against special WRs and DBs. Ryker Kennedy is making the trip down representing North Catholic, formerly out North Allegheny. No Hudl link, no tape from last Fall while I was updating 2026s. Will have to post tape as a junior next Fall in order to make our rankings, unless I can get a hold of his sophomore tape Performing well at this event could bode well in terms of leaving a lasting impression on myself. Is a baseball participant, like some of the clips he’s posted recently as well (training,7v7). Excited to learn more.
An unranked Maryland prospect without much traction in recruiting or presence on Twitter. I took a peek to see if the young man had tape on Hudl, he does, yet none of it shared on social media. Looks like a quality starter over at Chesapeake High School in Pasadena, MD. I will be putting Sears under a microscope, seeing how he operates against some of the best wideouts and DBs from PA/VA. Would be designated as an ATH. Carries a 3.9 GPA.

Have a good feeling Bradford Area’s junior QB Talan Reese Talan Reese 6’3″ | 195 lbs | QB Bradford | 2025 State PA is going to leave this event in a better spot than when he came in, both from a developmental standpoint, as well as in stock. I placed a D2 grade on Reese a couple months back, many PSAC schools/programs will be present. I’ll be able to bounce eval points between coaches to know just how wrong/right I am on his previous grade. I have a feeling I might’ve been too harsh, wondering if the 6’3, 195-pound passer is more of a lock at the D2 level than I previously imagined. 2,000+ scrimmage yards, 20+ TDs, 4.0 GPA, a lot to like.

Arguably one of the prospects in attendance with the most to gain. Ranked inside the top three at his position, Billy Tigue Billy Tigue 6’5″ | 175 lbs | TE West Chester Rustin | 2025 State PA will work representing West Chester Rustin. Tigue’s tape provided an easy FCS grade, I’m more interested in learning about his potential upside. Is Teague a bonafide Top100 prospect? Is there room to grow from a weight perspective? Can he play defense? Will he align at DE this camp, or strictly TE. I want to learn more and am eager to put him under my microscope. 6’5, 175. Coaches present are likely to gravitate toward the kid. Great GPA and SAT. Lacrosse participant. I’m on board the Tigue train, let’s see if we can add some passengers.
