Continue ReadingRooks is one of the fastest rising prospects in Northern California, and is up to 7 offers now, collecting a few more last week from the likes of Cornell, Georgetown and Columbia. He should be closing in on a couple more here soon, and should be above the 10 offer mark by the time we get into the summer. A high academic kid with elite athleticism for the defensive line position, and plays with tremendous technique and short area twitch/explosion, and it is only a matter of time until he lands another G5/MWC offer.
Ford checks into our rankings as one of the top tight ends in the state, and is a no brainer power five caliber prospect with elite size and speed for that level. At 6’5 and change, he is a smooth athlete with strong hands and a huge catch radius while very physical at the POA. He has picked up offers from Wyoming, Arizona, Washington, SDSU and Oregon State while locking in a official visit with the local Golden Bears in early June. Ford currently holds 9 division I offers.
Walton is another high academic kid that should have most of the Ivy League schools offering by the time the summer is wrapped up, and is a massive tackle prospect with elite athleticism and all the measureables that pass the eye test. He has recently been offered by Yale, Bucknell, Georgetown and Montana State and should see other FCS+ offers roll in this Spring as he is one of the valley’s top prospects.

Funaki is an All-State kid from the CCS and picked up his first offer from Minot State. He is another prospect that has been flying a bit under the radar and should see his stock rise as we move through the Spring and is one of the top inside linebacker prospects that the region has in this rising Senior class.

One of the more athletic tackle prospects in the state with great upside and untapped potential at the next level, the liberty standout picked up his first offer from SDSU last week and should see other FBS/FCS offers roll in this Spring.
One of the fastest rising and most explosive backs in the state, the WCAL standout has seen a slew of offers come in this off-season, and they do not seem to be stopping anytime soon. SJSU, Washington State, UAB, and SDSU have all offered recently, and the WCAL Player of the Year is up to 6 offers.
One of the top players in the Northern Section recently picked up his first offer from Minot State, and other D2+ schools will likely follow suit as he has the ideal size, length and sudden quickness near the ball to play at the next level. He also flashes active hands, a good strike and plays with a high motor at all times. Look for University Prep to be one of Northern California’s top small school teams come Fall.
