Signed: Fresno State
Walton was first committed to Washington State but Fresno State made a push earlier in the Fall and flipped him to stay home and play for the Bulldogs. He is an elite tackle prospect with great length, athleticism, long arms and is very athletic for his size with plenty of room to grow and develop. Walton had offers from the likes of Fresno State, Washington State, Colorado State, Central Michigan, Nevada, Montana State and a host of other big time D1 high academic schools.

Walton is one of the biggest offensive tackle recruits in the northern California region, and has elite size, natural bend and good athleticism for the position at the next level. He holds multiple Division I offers and has been committed to Washington State for the past several months now, but the three-star prospect flipped his commitment this week to his hometown school, Fresno State. This is a big time get for the Bulldogs as they build out their 2025 class, as Walton has P4 abilities and growth potential and is off to a good start in his Senior season.

Walton is another high academic kid that should have most of the Ivy League schools offering by the time the summer is wrapped up, and is a massive tackle prospect with elite athleticism and all the measureables that pass the eye test. He has recently been offered by Yale, Bucknell, Georgetown and Montana State and should see other FCS+ offers roll in this Spring as he is one of the valley’s top prospects.

Walton has been one of the premier offensive tackles across the Central Valley for the past couple seasons, and is finally gaining some traction and seeing the offers roll in. He has been offered by Georgetown, Cornell and Montana State so far this off-season, and will most likely gather more once the second window opens up and coaches are back on the road. He has the ideal body and size/length for the tackle position at 6’6+ and carrying 300+ pounds very well with no bad weight, while also having over a 85″ wingspan and 10.5 inch hands. He is a true mauler on the outside with a heavy punch to knock defensive ends off their mark, while also playing with decent pad level and a strong anchor/base and finishes blocks downfield with nasty intentions. He shows that he can pull and get out to the second level and block in space with plus movement abilities and takes good angles to defenders in the open field while excelling in pass protection as well. He should be a 8+ offer guy by the time his career at Buchanan is over, and will continue to have a dominating off-season as he goes to camps and showcases.
