Michael Huntley | Prep Redzone Scout
Keanaaina ran for 2145 yards with 18 touchdowns for St. Francis this season and added a receiving touchdown.
The BYU commit gets to the hole quickly and uses his field vision to make plays rather than explosive speed. He’s a hard guy to bring down and is dangerous with the ball in his hands. Keanaaina will serve a two-year LDS mission before enrolling at BYU.

One of the top backs in the state and a explosive and violent runner, the WCAL star shows up every week and puts up big time numbers against the regions top talent. Committed to BYU, he is big time get for the Cougars and was a 8 offer kid by the time he shut it down and committed to the Cougars. He had a very explosive Friday night against the always tough Serra, and carried the Lancers to victory with a 319 yard rushing performance and 2 scores against a stout and well coached Padre defense.

Keanaaina is a great athlete on both sides of the ball with elite explosion, ball carrying abilities and is a very sound football player. He had just under 100 yards on the ground and added another 84 yard punt return, which broke a long time school record that had been in the books for years, according to multiple school reports. He is averaging more than 100 yards per game from the backfield, and has been one of the top backs in northern California this season. Currently, he holds one offer from Arizona, and it should not be long until other power five schools come knocking.
