Scouting Evaluation/Commitment Breakdown
Strengths: It’s hard to find many flaws on film with MacIntyre as brings just about every single trait to the table that every Power Program in the country wants in their quarterback. He has size, smooth mechanics and a big arm along with the athleticism to work the pocket to his advantage or tuck it and run with big yards. MacIntyre has a good feel for everything when he is on the field, sporting a calm presence while keeping his eyes down field, looking for the open receiver. The Eagles rising senior can place the ball just about anywhere he wants to with a powerful right arm that will be spinning it in Knoxville starting next year. Developmental Area: I’m sure if you talk to MacIntyre himself, he would tell you he has everything to work on and that’s true because every player does but honestly, the only thing I see that he must develop further is his body. The talent and skill set is already there, so adding in the needed weight to sustain a career on the next level is the only area I feel needs development. Once that man weight starts to come on, watch out because MacIntyre has NFL upside written all over him.Overview: Tennessee landed not only the top talent from the #TN2025 class but a quarterback that can be a program difference maker that leads the Vols to potential SEC titles while developing himself into a future NFL signal caller. Yes I am that confident with my scouting to say MacIntyre shows those physical abilities and upside to play football for a very long time and succeed at a high level. Landing MacIntyre was a huge for the Vols as they continue to make their home state a priority as the Eagles rising senior has the talent and pull to help bring in other top in-state talent along with him. We will see how that goes but MacIntyre certainly brings excitement as a guy that could bring Tennessee back into SEC title contention.

Strengths: One of the more dependable pass catchers from our #TN2025 class, Owens is a clean, safe prospect that will be taking his talents to Michigan and should see the field early due to his abilities and work ethic. The Tornadoes junior has some of the best hands in the state along with a physical body and frame that should play well inside the Big Ten conference. Owens is a tenacious competitor that is willing to block, doing so both in space and on the line of scrimmage. He is athletic and savvy enough to play flex out wide, using him in the slot as both a pass catcher and a blocker. His dependability and versatility should help Owens get on the field early during his time at Michigan. Developmental Area: While Owens is a clean prospect that could step on the field quickly and contribute, he does need to continue enhancing his overall speed and agility. He is a good athlete but to reach his maximum upside, Owens will need to get quicker and more explosive. This guy is a worker, so I’m sure the Tornadoes rising senior will be on the field and in the weight room developing that overall athleticism over the coming months. Overview: Out of all the prospects from our #TN2025 class, Owens is one of the more safest prospects you could recruit, so Michigan is getting a good football player that should provide plenty of dependable, strong play throughout the duration of his college career. Now I say all this with him headed to Michigan but will that remain with the recent subtraction of Coach Harbaugh to the NFL? That is something we will find out over the coming months but Owens is still one of the better offensive talents from the junior in-state class that should be a great addition for the Wolverines or whoever he eventually signs with.

Strengths: Big and versatile are the first two things that stand out to me when looking over clips of this Nashville area offensive lineman. Committing several weeks ago to Virginia, Adair is a top of state prospect who will continue landing big time offers as he brings a lot of physical tools and traits to the playing field that translate well to the college game. Adair is first and foremost highly intelligent with understanding to play all three interior O-line positions along with the athleticism to fill in at right tackle as well. He has good bend, lower base mobility as well as long arms and a strong leg drive to push defenders back. His ability to get into his man and drive him to the 2nd level is impressive. Adair could be headed to Virginia as a center where his upside may be best but I like his versatility to play guard as well and be plugged into the interior whenever needed. Developmental Area: The biggest area to work on for Adair moving forward is his lateral quickness and ability to pass block from the interior of the offensive line. Now that’s not an area that is not seriously lacking, let me say that but to go against massive D-Tackles at the Power level in college will be a challenge, so the more Adair can develop his athleticism and explosion, the more he will see his potential shine. Overview: From an overall player standpoint, I really like Adair and what he could do during his time at Virginia. The Mustangs rising senior is another clean, safe prospect that I think can step onto the practice field in Charlottesville and immediately find his way onto the depth chart. Adair is a smart ball player that is really filling out his body right now and could be in-store for his best high school season yet. His upside to lock down the center role while also providing versatility to handle all three interior O-line positions, gives Adair a chance to play early at Virginia and develop into a possible All-Conference performer.

Strengths: Last Fall was a breakout year for this Williamson County area prospect who took himself from an unknown to now a Wisconsin commit and one of the best defensive prospects from the #TN2025 class. Anes could be our top linebacker prospect this year when we do our rankings and that’s due to his size, speed and natural athletic abilities that translate well to the college game. He is an aggressive tackler who closes fast while also sporting the athleticism to drop and play in space. Anes can rush the backfield or use his range to string out the run game. If you want explosiveness, Anes brings that to the field and I still feel he has more growth in that area to go. This guy has some of the biggest potential and upside of any prospect in this state that could see the field early during his time at Wisconsin. Developmental Area: From a talent and potential point of view, there aren’t too many flaws within Anes but the one area where he can continue developing is with his body. Anes is still a tad lean with his frame but I can tell you from personal knowledge, the Pats rising senior has started to fill out nicely and by the time we get to the Fall season, his body weight should go up. Anes can also continue learning to play in coverage, especially if that is something asked of him while up in Madison, Wisconsin. Overview: The Badgers landed a major talent here with Anes, who I feel is still coming into his own with his best football days ahead of him. His athleticism and versatility allows the Wisconsin staff to play Anes in a variety of roles. He will start out on the outside with the Badgers where his speed, athletic abilities and range can be on full display while having the skills to work inside if needed as well. Anes fits the profile of your prototypical Wisconsin linebacker who does everything right without many flaws while showing the upside to take his talents beyond college ball and into the pro game one day.

Strengths: Tall and long with a wide radius and an easy moving lower body, Grant drips with big time potential as someone who could develop at cover corner in the college game. That upside as of now will be seen at Purdue, where Grant committed just a few weeks ago. The Stars rising senior is a natural athlete that has secondary versatility but it’s his skill set on the outside at corner that has me and the Boilermakers coaching staff excited about his future. Grant shows excellent feet and smooth hips on film along with the discipline to lock down receivers without much hand grabbing. He is an instinctive player too who tends to make plays consistently on the ball. Even if cornerback doesn’t work out, Grant has the skills to excel at safety as well, so there is a lot of value here with this Murfreesboro area prospect. Developmental Area: When you look at Grant, the first thing you see that you know he must develop further is his body weight. The Stars defensive back is a tad lean with his frame but if he stays out at cornerback, his body weight won’t be that big of a deal. Now if he is asked to move into safety, Grant will need to pack on more pounds but I don’t foresee that being a problem during his time in the Big Ten. Overview: There is a lot to like about Grant and his future in college football and with Purdue. There is a reason why I have him ranked inside our Top Five prospects for the #TN2025 class and that’s because Grant brings size, natural athletic abilities and the character to develop into a multi year starter during his time with the Boilermakers. No matter what happens over the coming months, Grant will remain within our Top 10 junior prospects as he is just that good and too talented to be passed over by many. This was an excellent pickup by Purdue that could have a big payoff down the road.
