Another great offensive lineman in Muskegon is emerging! It seems that this is just the norm. Ernesto fires off the ball quickly, throws his shoulder into the defender and drives until the whistle. His effort is pretty consistent, and has really become a bulldozer in the run game. Muskegon wasn’t an elite passing team by any means, but it looks like he has the makings to be consistent in that area as well. Overall I could see Ernesto becoming the next great offensive lineman from this powerhouse school.
Nate handled himself with the poise and confidence you’d expect out of a 3rd year starting senior in the state title game. He ran the offense well, got the ball out quickly to playmakers and didn’t make big mistakes. His arm and physical tools have a good baseline, and I think they’ll continue to grow as iron sharpens iron and Harper Woods plays some of the best teams in the state regularly. Watch for Nate to really impress a lot of people this season and shoot up boards.

Luke looked really good when I watched him in the playoffs in 2023. Any time you can crack the lineup as a sophomore at a place like Rockford, you’re definitely doing something right. He is a well coached and disciplined DB with the ability to stick with receivers and read the play. He shows a tremendous ability to diagnose what the offense is trying to do, and has the speed t break on the ball and make a play. Luke will be a big part of this defense moving forward for Rockford.

I’ve always been pretty high on Kory as he has an incredibly high ceiling and we showed it with this ranking. He has the pedigree and physical ability to take him wherever. He’s a burner who turns on the jets and gets to the second level with ease. If he gets the ball in open space with his quickness whether it’s on an option or end around, he is a menace to try and bring down. He can get the edge and get yards before anyone even touches him. Kory could be one of if not the best player in the Lansing area in my opinion.

There is no lack of aggression with this one! Timmer is a physical but also extremely agile lineman who does a nice job of making multiple blocks on the same play a lot of times. He never stops looking for someone to hit and he delivers some punishers. I think there is some work to be done on passing sets not lunging as much, but he is showing some solid skills there as well. He’s going to be an important anchor up front for West Catholic the next couple of years.
