*PLEASE NOTE this list is very general in nature and will change a lot in the months/years ahead. Most freshman are not playing varsity ball and haven't been able to prove themselves against legit competition.   As of right we have 100+ athletes listed for the 2027 class. The offers speak for themselves as you can expect the SEC and many others to come calling shortly. He was a unanimous all TRL 1st team selection, and possibly the first ever freshman to earn 1st team all-state honors.    2.[player_tooltip player_id='1095838' first='Jack' last='Brauckmiller'] 6-6 225 OLB/DE/TE Canby   Brauckmiller has Colt Lyerla type talent and the size and speed to be a major division 1 recruit. He earned honorable mention all-conference honors at LB, finishing with 22 total tackles and 4 INTs. You can expect many of the nation's top programs to be vying for his services as he can play on either side of the ball at the highest level.    3.[player_tooltip player_id='935357' first='Josiah' last='Hawkins'] 5-10 160 ATH Cascade   Look for Hawkins to be a conference POY favorite and 1st team all-state projected athlete as a sophomore. He earned 1st team DB honors and honorable mention all-conference WR accolades this past season. Watch him on the 7v7 circuit as he could blow up.    4.[player_tooltip player_id='791149' first='Kawai' last='Chamberlin'] 6-2 205 OLB Sheldon   Everyone knows that this kid is going be special. He comes incredibly quick and hard off the edge, making 14 total tackles as a freshman. Chamberlin racked up MVP honors at the All Poly and UTR camps last off season. He will likely match that and then some.    5.[player_tooltip player_id='426586' first='Peyton' last='Eveland'] 6-7 290 T Redmond   The 14-year-old moves insanely well for a kid still so young with his size. Watch the film and you see an athlete well advanced beyond his years. He played every snap on varsity as a freshman and is the brother of 2x conference lineman of the year [player_tooltip player_id='285851' first='Jace' last='Eveland'].    6.[player_tooltip player_id='937033' first='Cody' last='Mitchell'] 6-5 225 DE Crescent Valley   The big man has all the potential in the world with his 6-5 frame. He was an honorable mention All Mid-Willamette conference selection at DE as a freshman. Mitchell will be called upon to lead a D which has struggled in recent years, going 4-24 as a team in the last three seasons.    7.[player_tooltip player_id='709506' first='Deckard' last='Hale'] 6-0 200 WLB/RB Grant    I would expect Hale to be the PIL's player of the year as early as next season. His films speaks for itself, looking like one of the top players in the league as a freshman on the defensive side of the ball. He earned honorable mention all PIL honors.    8.[player_tooltip player_id='796694' first='Jordan' last='Rossetta'] 6-3 190 QB Grants Pass   Rossetta played varsity ball as a freshman throwing multiple TD's. Even with the Cavemen struggling recently, GP has produced some of Oregon's top athletes over the years. He could be another one.    9.[player_tooltip player_id='937176' first='Malachi' last='Garlington'] 6-1 155 WR Central Catholic   The 2-sport standout is a super talented hooper so it will be interesting to see how that plays out. Garlington would start as a sophomore for most programs, but the state champs have legit depth. One well known trainer says he has Darrius Clemons type potential.    10.[player_tooltip player_id='936855' first='Nate' last='Peau'] 6-0 240 DL Central Catholic   Peau was the most varsity ready athlete for CC as a freshman. He got in the mix for the Rams making a couple tackles. From a projection standpoint a lot will depend on continued growth.    11.[player_tooltip player_id='1119870' first='Jamison' last='Walsh'] 6-3 190 DE/TE Cascade   The son of former Roseburg/ Oregon St standout Mark Walsh. Jamison will likely end up 6-5 235 and one of the top TE/DE's in the NW. Playing 4A ball you can go somewhat under the radar but expect him to develop nicely in the coming seasons.    12.[player_tooltip player_id='1119886' first='Aiden' last='Hibler'] 6-1 170 QB North Eugene   Hibler has good size and had a breakout varsity season as a freshman, catching 17 passes for 353 total yards and 2 TDs. It will be important for him to get out on the camp circuit and prove himself with the competition being what it is for the Highlanders.    13.[player_tooltip player_id='936846' first='Leonardo' last='Correani'] 5-11 210 LB Lincoln    Correani was the only athlete in Oregon to earn all-conference honors on both sides of the football as a freshman at the 6A level. He had close to 40 tackles on the year, racking up 2nd team honors at LB and on the O line.    14.[player_tooltip player_id='1121744' first='Pat' last='Vialva Jr.'] 5-11 165 QB/DB West Linn     West Linn's starting point guard can also play a little football. He played the QB spot and could project at DB as a lock down corner, depending on what sport he pursues.    15.[player_tooltip player_id='937266' first='Ben' last='Greer'] 6-0 190 LB South Salem   Greer comes from a talented family. Look for him to be one of the top two-way threats in Oregon and a double-digit TD, 100+ tackle guy per year, in the seasons ahead.    16.[player_tooltip player_id='1119889' first='Pena' last='Moors'] 6-0 220 LB West Albany   This kid didn't waste any time making a name for himself, with 27 total tackles and 3 sacks as a freshman at the Varsity level. His projection will be based on continued growth, but he has good size and can move.    17.[player_tooltip player_id='1121756' first='Ashden' last='Marquis'] 5-10 160 CB/ATH Wilsonville   Marquis played some varsity ball as a 9th grader for the 5A state champs. He will project as one of the fastest kids in the state for his class, running a reported 4.6 laser 40 this past season.   18.[player_tooltip player_id='937311' first='Alexander' last='Mishkin'] 6-3 245 OL Central Catholic   One of the only kids who played varsity ball as a freshman for the state champs. Mishkin has good size and could be a three-year starter for the Rams on the interior.    19.[player_tooltip player_id='937084' first='Gavin' last='Thaut'] 6-1 190 OLB West Linn   Thaut has legit size and causes countless problems for opponents coming off the edge. The Lions depth makes it difficult for some of the young guys to play early, but he has that type of ability.    20.[player_tooltip player_id='845242' first='Sean' last='Bour-Nelson'] 5-9 130 ATH Mountainside   The co-freshman of the year at Mountainside went for 12 total TDs and looked the part in the open field. He is the son of former Ducks standout JD Nelson. Expect him to be a factor next year at the Varsity level.    21.[player_tooltip player_id='937232' first='Kellen' last='Bowman'] 6-0 165 QB South Salem   Bowman is one of the top baseball prospects in the region and should be able to step in as a sophomore and lead the Saxons at QB.    22.[player_tooltip player_id='937113' first='Shane' last='Peters'] 5-8 150 ATH West Linn   Not the biggest kid but one of the most talented within the program. Brother of former all state LB Cole Peters. Look for him to play a role at both RB and Safety.    23.[player_tooltip player_id='1121755' first='Tyson' last='Donnerberg'] 5-11 145 WR West Linn   Historically one of the most impressive families in the state, with everyone playing D1 ball. Don't be surprised to see Tyson add some significant size and make a nice jump up the rankings board, being the top WR among the Lions young guys.    24.[player_tooltip player_id='855093' first='Summit' last='Cvitash'] 6-1 165 DB Lake Oswego   Cvitash could come in and play immediately for the Lakers on D next season. He has good size and plays with notable confidence. He was a Team Lillard MVP DB over the off-season drawing comparisons to Cole Prusia.   25.[player_tooltip player_id='858318' first='Kenny' last='Ritchie'] 5-9 145 CB West Linn   The Lions secondary will be one of the best anywhere in the West in the years ahead. Ritchie is a shutdown cover corner who will make it very difficult for receivers to even catch a ball.
