Correani is a physical presence at linebacker who brings a rare combination of size, strength, and movement ability. He plays downhill with authority, showing the ability to deliver impactful hits while still moving well in space. His processing and pursuit allow him to consistently find the football and make plays. Despite also being a standout running back, his traits translate extremely well to the defensive side. Projects as a high-upside linebacker with the tools to be a difference-maker.

Correani was a tackling machine for Lincoln, racking up 119 tackles, three sacks, and seven TFLs in a dominant all-around season. His instincts and physicality allowed him to diagnose plays quickly and shut down runs before they developed. He excelled sideline-to-sideline thanks to his motor and athleticism. Correani returns next season as one of the state’s top linebackers.

Correani is one of the most consistent and impactful linebackers in Oregon’s 2027 class. He plays fast, physical, and with a level of confidence that jumps off the screen, showing excellent pursuit, reliable tackling, and a nose for the football. Correani processes plays quickly and takes sharp angles, rarely wasting steps on his way to the ball. His toughness, motor, and football IQ make him the kind of linebacker every defense wants at the heart of their unit.

Correani is a kid I am very high on out of the PIL as he has all the tools to succeed. He has a nice compact frame and the athleticism to excel at the high school level. Correani still has two more years left of high school football, and I cannot wait to watch him develop.

Leonardo Correani Leonardo Correani 5'11" | 225 lbs | LB/RB Lincoln | 2027 State OR is a 5’11” 210-pound sophomore linebacker and running back for Lincoln. He’s an explosive and versatile athlete who made a notable impact on the offensive end for Lincoln. Correani recorded 40 yards and one touchdown on seven carries. He also caught two passes for 10 yards and had five tackles. As just a sophomore in the class of 2027, Correani currently has a pretty complete game with plenty of time to improve. Watch out for Correani this season.
