Player Bio
About me
My name is Sean Bour-Nelson and I play for Mountainside High school. As a freshman I had 7 receiving TDs, 3 passing TDs, and 2 kick returns for TDs for the Mountainside Freshman team. I also play corner on defense. I had the opportunity of practicing with the Varsity team and suiting for playoffs.
What position(s) do you play? What do you view as your strengths?
I am a 5’11 140lb WR/DB and my strengths are my ability to run routes at the proper depth and get open at the proper time. I am just as fast side to side as downhill. I have fluid hips, large (almost 10”) hands, and I track the ball and adjust well. I pride myself on my football IQ and ability to perform in multiple positions.
What type of school are you looking for?
I am open to all levels of schools offering athletic scholarships. My intended majors are journalism. My grandfather played football and ran track at Stanford, my father and great grandfather at Oregon, and my great Uncle at UCLA. Those are my stretch goal dream schools but I am open to any school with a great journalism program.
What are your interests outside of Football?
Outside of football I play basketball and run track. I run the 110m hurdles, 100m, 200m, and the 4x100m. I am a percussionist in concert band, have been acting and modeling since I was young, participate in theatre, and leadership. The arts are a big part of my life in addition to athletics.
Closing Statement
Thank you for taking time to review my bio. I’ve loved football my entire life and I hope to continue playing at the next level.
