After a tough loss against Guthrie, 4A’s #4 Tuttle bounced back in a big way to open up district play on Friday night. The Tigers beat Bethany 30-10 in a match-up featuring top ten teams in Class 4A. We’ve mentioned how tough this district is going to be once again and the Tigers got off to a great start with a win. Leading the way for the Tigers was junior standout Brady Mcadoo Brady Mcadoo 6’0″ | 180 lbs | RB Tuttle | 2025 State OK at the running back position. He was an absolute workhorse back in the win. He finished the game with 26 carries for 163 yards and a touchdown. Mcadoo and the Tigers can now shift their focus to the rest of their gauntlet district schedule knowing they are one game down.
Highlights
Edmond Santa Fe junior running back Demarius Robinson Demarius Robinson 5’9″ | 165 lbs | RB Edmond Santa Fe | 2025 State OK is one of the players on our Player Of The Year watchlist and he showed why as he and the Wolves made a massive statement in a 54-7 win over Edmond Memorial. The defense was outstanding in shutting down a high-powered Edmond Memorial offense. But Robinson was the story of the night as he could not be contained in the running game. He finished the rivalry contest with just under 350 yards and six touchdowns on the night with 20 carries. Robinson and the Wolves are looking to continue this momentum into the rest of the district slate as they look to make some more noise.
Highlights
For the second straight week, Apache junior quarterback Houston Herrin Houston Herrin 5’11” | 170 lbs | ATH Apache | 2025 State OK finds himself on this breakdown after Apache beat another top ten team. Last week, it was a shutout win over Ringling. This week, it was a 48-28 win over Mangum and the Warriors keep climbing the ranks in Class A. Herrin put up even more impressive numbers as they lit up the scoreboard in the win over Mangum. Herrin did almost all of his damage on the ground against Ringling. Against Mangum, he was also 5-5 for nearly 100 yards and a touchdown. He would then add well over 200 yards and a pair of touchdowns on 22 carries on the night.
Highlights
For the second consecutive season, Muskogee beat up on Sand Springs and for the second consecutive season, Muskogee quarterback Jamarian Ficklin Jamarian Ficklin 6’1″ | 180 lbs | QB Muskogee | 2025 State OK was flawless in the win. In their 51-13 win over the Sandites, the junior quarterback did the majority of his damage on the ground. Ficklin is a great passer but every now and then, he reminds us that he is dangerous in the ground game as well. He finished with 171 yards and five touchdowns on the ground alone. He also added 218 passing yards and a touchdown on 16-24 passing. The Roughers bounced back from a tough loss to 5A’s #1 Carl Albert and 6A-2’s top-ranked team flexed their muscles in the district opener.
Defending champion Fairview left no doubt in week four as they beat up on Hooker 56-22. We’ve written about junior quarterback Jax Bernard Jax Bernard 5’11” | 170 lbs | QB Fairview | 2025 State OK already this season as he’s been one of the best quarterbacks in the state. He’s one of several players on this breakdown that are on the PRZ-Oklahoma Player Of The Year watchlist. In the 56-22 win over Hooker, Bernard was as good as it gets. He threw for just over 400 yards and six touchdowns on 24-32 passing. He also added 70 yards and a touchdown on the ground. You can make the argument that the Hooker game was going to be the toughest district contest. Bernard and the defending champs are rolling right now.
We stay in Class A with another dynamic quarterback who shined in a marquee game. Top-ranked Hominy got a 55-22 win over Pawnee on Friday night and star quarterback Jaxon Woods Jaxon Woods 6’0″ | ATH Hominy | 2024 State OK showed why he’s one of the best players in the state. Woods was one of the finalists for our PRZ-Oklahoma Player Of The Year award last year and he’s had a somewhat quiet season so far as the Bucks have been dominant and he hasn’t had to put on that Superman cape. Woods got pretty close in the win over Pawnee. He threw for 375 yards and six touchdowns on 10-11 passing. He also added 18 tackles on the defensive side of the ball. Just like Bernard, Hominy is a top contender with Woods at QB.
Putnam City got their first win of the season and it was a big one as they beat Lawton 49-20. Because of the rule in 6A-1 and 6A-2 where six teams from each district now make the playoffs, the Pirates are one step closer to locking up a playoff spot already this season. Senior quarterback Judson Keefer Judson Keefer 6’2″ | 195 lbs | QB Putnam City | 2024 State OK put up some of the best numbers from week four as the Pirates got the big district victory. Keefer finished the game with nearly 350 yards passing and would total well over 500 yards of total offense. He had three touchdowns passing and five total touchdowns on the night. Keefer and the Pirates now look to keep this momentum going moving forward.
Westmoore got another rivalry win in the annual “Moore War” after beating Moore 37-33. Westmoore senior quarterback Micheal Graham Micheal Graham 6’0″ | ATH Del City | 2024 State OK continues to be one of the more electric quarterbacks in the state. Graham is committed to Houston to play defense but he put up some absolutely monster numbers on the offensive side of the ball. Graham finished with just over 150 yards passing and a pair of touchdowns on the night. But it was Graham on the ground that makes him so dangerous. He had over 250 yards and three touchdowns rushing. Graham is the type of player that anytime he starts scrambling around or tucking and run, you hold your breath.
Union junior quarterback Shaker Reisig Shaker Reisig 6’0″ | 185 lbs | QB Union | 2025 State OK is yet another player on this breakdown that is on our Player Of The Year watchlist. Reisig showed why he’s one of, if not the best quarterbacks in the state as he carved up Owasso’s defense in a 55-22 win over Owasso. The Redhawk junior signal caller would finish the game with 322 yards and five touchdowns on 22-28 passing. He also added a touchdown on the ground. The argument for who the best quarterback in Oklahoma is heating up and Reisig is right there in the middle of it. At this point, it’s hard to find another quarterback that has been more efficient than Reisig in this Union offense.
5A’s top-ranked Carl Albert rolled to a 58-9 win in the district opener against Lawton Eisenhower. The defending state champions were never really tested and their star running back Xavier Robinson Xavier Robinson 6’2″ | 225 lbs | RB Carl Albert | 2024 State OK was outstanding once again. The reigning PRZ-Oklahoma Player Of The Year was unstoppable in the win. He finished the game with just over 200 yards and four touchdowns and he had 19 carries on the night. Robinson has 19 touchdowns on the ground already. He’s scored at least four touchdowns on the ground in four of the five games this season. Keeping Robinson out of the end zone has been something that no team has figured out.

Kale Charboneau Kale Charboneau 6'0" | 210 lbs | ATH Wagoner | 2025 State OK – 2025 Quarterback – Wagoner

Junior quarterback Kale Charboneau Kale Charboneau 6'0" | 210 lbs | ATH Wagoner | 2025 State OK is arguably the most important two-way player on the team and on Friday, he shined on offense. Matt Lund Matt Lund 6'0" | RB Elgin | 2024 State OK – 2024 Running Back – Elgin

He finished with nearly 200 yards on the ground and two touchdowns. He also was a top target in the passing game. He had two catches for 84 yards and two touchdowns. Lund and the Elgin offense have been lights out this season.
Paul New – 2025 Running Back/Linebacker – Kansas
Class 2A’s Kansas jumped into the most recent Class 2A rankings after a 26-14 win over Sperry. The Comets have a marquee win earlier in September and the Comets are still unbeaten on the season. He also had over 50 yards receiving and a touchdown. He then finished with 12 tackles on defense and played on every single play.
Raiden McLemore – 2025 Running Back – Cyril

McLemore ran for just over 250 yards and two touchdowns and also had nearly 50 yards receiving on seven catches as he did the majority of damage for the Cyril offense. The Pirates bounced back after three tough games against ranked teams from Class B and C.
Rylan Wetzel – 2026 Running Back – Mounds
Mounds sophomore running back Rylan Wetzel is making up for lost time after missing the first two weeks of the season. In his first game back last week, he ran for over 200 yards and three touchdowns. He came back this week against Wewoka and had another stellar performance. He only carried the ball 12 times on the night and still finished with 175 yards and four touchdowns on the night. Wetzel is off to a hot start now that he’s back.
