First rep has Ford aligned in the backfield, essentially at FB. Ford levels a kid in his path, showing off his power when coupled with momentum, as well as his ability to actually move his big frame. Next rep, you can find Ford tracking a ball carrier far from his alignment pre-snap, showing off effort and motor. Complete package, a football player you can win with. High motor and effort might be some of the best the State has to offer, the kid is involved in tackles throughout the field. IDL is his home, yet GM deployed him as a 3-tech shading tackles from time to time. Great second-phase shedder. Top 100 prospect for another update.
Deployed and involved in inside-out stunts. 6’2, 245 pounds, a lean frame coupled with active hands and feet make Mikale Whitfield Mikale Whitfield 6’2″ | 245 lbs | DL Imhotep Charter | 2025 State PA a slippery IDL/DE prospect that can take advantage of the stunts he’s placed in. Perfect approach to counter and throw off off-balanced guards when kicked inside. Good pursuit too, he closes to the BC or QB well after shedding or when left unblocked. Whitfield boasts a skill set and frame that should allow the Imhotep coaching staff to get creative with his future alignment. He should see extended playing time. You can find Whitfield blocking in-line at TE too. Top 100 player.

Nolan Holt Nolan Holt 6’4″ | 220 lbs | DL Unionville | 2025 State PA , a camper and personal favorite of mine, cracks the top 100, as well as the top 20 at his incredibly loaded position. The top seven or eight defensive linemen on our ranks hold legitimate Power Five grades, which should tell you how close Holt is to that level. 6’4, 220, 3.3 GPA. Love his initial plan when engaging blockers. Holt despite having a Plan B most of the time, can be seen winning early throughout the majority of his reps on tape. Can serve Unionville as a DE/IDL in a four-man front. Can play with his hand off the dirt too, OLB capable. Excited to ask around coaching circles about what others think of the kid, especially since Holt has has a busy camp season from start to finish.

Equally impressive OL tape, has OL/DL tape on Hudl, each seven minutes long. 13 sacks to his name, 52 total tackles with 18 of them being TFLs. Inside the top 90 in a class consisting of almost 700 prospects. 6’2, 270, desirable IOL build when projecting to the next level, trimming down a tad would make him an ideal fit to stay along the defensive front in the future. A disruptor and sack-getter coming through the A-gaps. Stationing Climes head-up on centers proved to be a productive decision from the staff at Elizabeth Forward, he blends balance, quick hands, and feet to leave IOL guessing. A multi-faceted approach to his engagements make him one of the more formidable interior defenders the state has to offer.

Excited to these two Malvern Prep Friars cash in on an off-season of hard work. You’ve heard it once from me, you’ll hear it again, MP has numerous defenders worthy of playing along this defensive front. MP can’t play all of them. Looking back at past camp performances, past Hudl clips and highlights, we identified both Ceppetelli and Borzillo as potential EDGE prospects to know when scouting the state. Both are TE-capable prospects, both can block from that position. Both Ceppetelli and Borzillo can rush the passer at the varsity level. I want one of these two kids to stand out and make us stop guessing.
A ton of effort will culminate into something this time next year, which of these two kids, whose ceilings are through the roof, will cash in on the opportunity in front of them?

New addition to the rankings, a high debut inside the top 75. Ranking higher than the players listed above is a compliment in itself. 6’3, 255 pounds, 3.5 GPA, Coatesville’s Takiyah Lynch Takiyah Lynch 6’3″ | 255 lbs | DL Coatesville | 2025 State PA is the newest recruit that I’m excited to send out to coaches recruiting Eastern Pennsylvania. Missed four games last year, yet still put forth impressive tape. Consistently aligns as an A-B gap interior defender for Coatesville, yet looking at his build and measurables, I can’t help but think about his potential rushing off the edge. Lynch’s athletic profile, particularly how it develops moving forward, is crucial to where he projects to the next level. If Lynch stays his current weight, keeping him inside the defensive front makes sense. If the young man trims down just a tad, I could see his skill set transition well if moved to DE/EDGE. Either way, this is a great “problem” to have moving forward. I wouldn’t call it a problem at all. Expecting a monster season out of this young man.
