Javius Dent Javius Dent 6’1″ | 190 lbs | ATH Steelton-Highspire | 2025 State PA is going to have to earn his role this coming season. I’d bet he does just that, especially considering the amount of seniors moving on to the next level. Spots are to be had, roles are to be filled. Looking at the way Dent finishes some of his tackles, I expect the SHS coaching staff will work to turn the young man into a special starter moving forward, we’ll see.
A young man who shows off his work ethic on Twitter. Keeping with the theme of this piece, there will be shoes to fill with the 2023 class moving on. St. Joseph’s Prep is of course loaded to the brim with talent, all the way across the roster. Christian Leonard Christian Leonard 6’5″ | 315 lbs | OL St. Joseph’s Prep | 2025 State PA may well not see the field this coming Fall, at least not as a starter. All of this being said, I’m fully expecting Christian Leonard Christian Leonard 6’5″ | 315 lbs | OL St. Joseph’s Prep | 2025 State PA to be a factor at some point. 6’5, 315 pounds of clay ready to be crafted and molded into something special. Nothing will come unless the young man continues to develop under the prestigious SJP coaching staff.
“ATH” designation fits Rashon Sanders Rashon Sanders 5’9″ | 155 lbs | ATH Penn Wood | 2025 State PA ‘ skillset. Tape shows him catching balls in numerous offensive sets, returning kicks and punts deep into enemy territory, as well as picking off passes when aligned at DB. A lot to unpack in just two and a half minutes of tape, the young man had a productive sophomore campaign. Seen setting the edge in run support when at boundary corner, finishes tackles well too. Will more than likely be used as an offensive weapon when needed. Not sure where he’ll rank among his peers, yet I do expect he earns a spot on our lists.
Highlights
Quickly becoming one of my favorite 2025s on my Watchlist. Ideal frame for a wideout, a 6’4 body that can stretch a defense vertically. He can catch and locate deep balls too, not just a nine guy. His tape on the defensive side of the ball, hawking down ball carriers or rushing the passer at OLB, this is where the kid begins to intrigue me. Will surprise after the catch, has numerous reps where he catches slants or hitches and breaks free for extra yardage. Is strong enough to provide some blocking at TE if need be. Offensive instincts translate to the defensive side of the ball, often having him in the right place at the right time. Would love to see how he performs at Safety. Will rank high.
I’m excited about this one. 6’6, 315 lbs, I know coaches read those measurables and immediately begin drooling. 2025 prospect, starter as a sophomore at Hollidaysburg. Having a phenomenal off-season, working in front of Pitt, PSU, and WVU staff members. Left tackle reps that show off his violent temperament when run blocking. Finisher too. Incredible upper body strength/punch that can thwart kids right at the beginning of the snap. Pass-pro reps show he can get deep into his kick-back while balanced, not staggering half a yard of the LOS. Displacement after the snap is a good sign of his initial explosion out of stance. His tape conveys a wide spectrum of physical traits. This kid will rank high regardless or not his recruiting level at time of ranking.
6’1, 195, TE and DE capabilities, yet his tape on Hudl only shows offensive reps. Works in numerous tight formations, formations that value multiple TE/OL. Love his second-level, second-assignment blocking ability. Bryan Tobin Bryan Tobin 6’1″ | 195 lbs | TE Southern Lehigh | 2025 State PA ‘s got the brains to understand his blocking assignments while also releasing at TE when called upon to do so. Great athlete with a wide range of skills. Said skillsets allows Tobin to provide quality reps in gadget-plays and special teams. Would love to see his defensive tape too. Might be given the “ATH” designation.
Highlights
Self lists between 6’2-6’3, 210 pounds. An intriguing build combined with quality sophomore reps on tape, this kid could be a prime candidate for early looks from potential collegiate suitors. Outstanding hand placement when blocking at TE. So much so that he serves as a primary blocker often aligning strong-side. The tape trickles into LB reps that show off his ability to track ball carriers down the LOS. The tape shows some pass-catching reps too, an ideal football player to have on your side. Can’t go without mentioning Albert’s prowess at FB. The young man can be aligned in the backfield, off-set if need be, and provide lead-blocking if called upon. Seen flattening kids too. Love this kid’s game.
