Throughout the week, we're diving deep into the rankings with prospect breakdowns. We're discussing why these players are already on our radar and already on the radar for the next level.
In this breakdown, we're putting a spotlight on the running back position. And just like the wide receiver and tight end positions, this group has a chance to be really special. One prospect on this breakdown is already committed, and the other four range from the state's highest class to all the way down in 8-man football. These players are truly dynamic and have a chance to be really special this fall and beyond. Keep it locked in to more prospect breakdowns throughout the week!

Wynnewood's [player_tooltip player_id='353410' first='Caden' last='Knighten'] announced his commitment to Vanderbilt shortly after visiting Nashville during one of our 7v7 tournaments. Knighten is truly one of the more dynamic athletes in the state's 2025 class. We think he's an absolute game changer and we've really enjoyed seeing him in person at various 7v7 tournaments. He's routinely one of the best running backs in attendance and has the chance to have a very special 2023 season. Last year, he became a finalist for our Player Of The Year award while lining up at quarterback and being a run-first QB. He put up some monster numbers and will have Wynnewood back in contention this fall.","_player_evaluations_0_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_1_player":["211234"],"_player_evaluations_1_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_1_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_1_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_1_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_1_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_1_evaluation":"Idabel running back [player_tooltip player_id='211234' first='Ravian' last='Larry'] has been on our radar since his freshman season. Larry had a great freshman campaign and then came back for even more last fall. But Larry was somewhat limited as a sophomore because of a nagging injury. We got a chance to see Larry in person just once last season and we could definitely see signs of him being the game changing running back that earns him this high ranking. Larry is waiting for his recruitment to really take off but we think that it could be coming soon. We really like Idabel this season and specifically the offensive side of the ball with all the skill players they bring back. As we mentioned earlier this year, Larry could definitely be a 2,000 yard rusher as long as he has a healthy junior season.","_player_evaluations_1_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_2_player":["294264"],"_player_evaluations_2_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_2_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_2_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_2_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_2_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_2_evaluation":"After leading Laverne to back to back state championships and being simply one of the best athletes in the state last year, we're not quite sure how running back [player_tooltip player_id='294264' first='Felix' last='Teal'] could be flying under the radar. He put up some mind-boggling numbers last year as he moved to quarterback but was definitely a run-first QB, just like Knighten at Wynnewood. Teal could not be stopped and earned All State honors, on his way to another state championship. When we finally got a chance to see Teal in person back in late April at our camp, he lived up to every expectation we had and then some as he ran away with the MVP award for the running back position. Teal is a truly special talent and should receive more attention and not be overlooked as an 8-man standout.","_player_evaluations_2_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_3_player":["188013"],"_player_evaluations_3_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_3_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_3_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_3_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_3_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_3_evaluation":"Similar to Larry and Teal, Edmond Santa Fe's [player_tooltip player_id='188013' first='Demarius' last='Robinson'] has been our radar since his freshman season with the Wolves. In fact, when we look at the 2025 class as a whole, Robinson was one of the very first prospects in that class that we saw in pads. He was a standout in their scrimmage during his freshman season and has just continued to get better from there. While the team struggled in the win-loss department last season, Robinson was still the bright spot of the offense. And this offseason has been successful for the Edmond Santa Fe standout. He's started picking up interest and more importantly offers from D1 programs and we're looking forward to seeing what he does this fall. He's going to be a four-year starter in 6A-1. That's an impressive note.","_player_evaluations_3_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_4_player":["515901"],"_player_evaluations_4_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_4_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_4_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_4_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_4_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_4_evaluation":"Our final running back prospect is another guy who stood out at our last prospect camp at that position and was right there with Teal in terms of being the RB MVP. Bartlesville's [player_tooltip player_id='515901' first='PJ' last='Wallace'] had an outstanding sophomore campaign as he ran for more than 1,700 yards on the season and was one of the top rushers in Class 6A-2. Our preseason previews start dropping in July and we are really high on the Bruins coming into this season and Wallace is a big reason behind that. He has the potential to be one of the top rushers in the state, regardless of class and we think it's only a matter of time before college coaches start taking notice. Wallace is a big running back that has the ability to beat defenses in a variety of ways and has a bright future.","_player_evaluations_4_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations":5,"_player_evaluations":"field_62aba7547dc44"},"mode":"edit","alignText":"left","anchor":"acf-block-6494cc3265e3e"} /-->
