While the overall number of prospects in attendance was a little light, the talent on display certainly was not. There were over 10 athletes on the 2027 Prep Redzone Next National Watchlist in attendance. There were also more than a few new names and faces that impressed. The prospects got a ton of reps on both sides of the ball and put in a ton of work.
In addition to the MVPs at each position, standouts at the skill positions and running back and linebacker standouts, here is a look at the linemen that opened some eyes.
Hatton, who also impressed as a tight end on the offensive side of the ball, was picked to compete in the best on best competition at the end of the camp as a defensive lineman. The 6-foot-3, 215 pounder was really good as a defensive end who battled with Cooper Ebeling Cooper Ebeling 6’4″ | 280 lbs | OL Episcopal Academy | 2027 State PA and Maxwell Hiller Maxwell Hiller 6’5″ | 290 lbs | OL Coatesville | 2027 State PA all camp long. He had a nice first step up field off the snap and when he was able to get extension with his long arms, he did well in the rep.

I came away very impressed with Mickens at the PRZ Next Rising Prospect Camp in Pennsylvania. For being a class of 2028 prospect, he showed off a wide array of pass rush moves. He was selected for a best on best rep at the end of camp and showed off crazy bend and athleticism. He measured in around 5-foot-10 and weighed 190 pounds. Wasn’t afraid to line up against some of the big boys at camp and made the most of his reps.

The Pennsylvania PRZ Next Rising Prospect Camp was my second time seeing Ebeling live, in as many weeks. Just as he did the week prior, Ebeling was a standout on the offensive line and was selected for a best on best rep at the end. At 6-foot-2 and 256 pounds, once Ebeling got his hands on the rushing defensive lineman he won the rep more times than not by using impressive natural strength. He can play stiff at times and needs to improve overall quickness and speed. Traditionally has played tackle, but bumping inside to guard may be a good move.

A thick, physical interior two-way lineman that had a nice showing at the Pennsylvania PRZ Next Rising Prospect Camp. Measured in at 5-foot-11 and 300 pounds, which is a lot of mass for a class of 2028 prospect. Was selected for best-on-best at the end of camp after doing very well in both individual position drills and in one-on-one’s. In a small area he’s able to move his feet well enough to mirror the opposing lineman but increasing his speed and agility should be a goal. Additionally, he does well at his size now, but keeping his weight in check moving forward will also help him continue to ascend on his football journey.
