A youngster with really solid instincts Harris still is looking to find a role on an Erasmus Hall varsity team that is filled with talent at WR/DB. With a large graduating class at both positions I think Harris gets some time here and I think his acceleration and quickness could ultimately lead him to being a quality DB for Erasmus Hall. There is not enough film to have a complete evaluation for Harris but and invite to the Downstate Classic will be key for the Freshman who I think will have a lot of eyes on him come this fall.
Production wise, not many freshman were able to match what Brayden Richardson Brayden Richardson 5’11” | 190 lbs | ATH Sleepy Hollow | 2026 State NY did for Sleepy Hollow this past fall. Richardson has great vision and overall he is already a top athlete in this class. Richardson has great quickness and can make guys miss with twitchy cuts. In space, Richardson does a good job of letting player develop and being patient as a runner. While in traffic Richardson does a good job of using his quickness and speed to breakaway from defenders. Richardson also has one of the filthiest spin moves in the entire state. Richardson is a name to watch and I would expect his role to grow as a sophomore.
Highlights
Gianni Pasqualone Gianni Pasqualone 5’10” | 150 lbs | ATH Tottenville | 2026 State NY was one of the best offensive weapons for Tottenville through the air past season and the freshman routinely shows elite speed on tape. Pasqualone has the speed to put him in the top tier when it comes to speed in the PSAL and although he is a smaller player his quickness and ability to change direction quickly make him a dangerous player with the ball in his hands. Pasqualone should get some more involvement on offense as his career progresses and will be a very nice compliment to some of the star young running backs that reside in Tottenville’s backfield.
Highlights
Jack Eskridge Jack Eskridge WR Bennett | 2026 State NY dominated JV last season but there likely is not a single more anticipated jump to varsity in terms of the quality of player being moved up than Eskridge. Canisius had a plethora of ATH’s and WR’s last season to work with but with some guys headed to college there is a chance that Eskridge and 2025′ Jahyden Clark Jahyden Clark 6’0″ | 165 lbs | ATH Canisius | 2025 State NY could form one of the most dangerous young duos in New York. Eskridge is a really solid route runner and has elite quickness and twitch to his game. Skill wise, there are not many players as advanced as Eskridge, but the transition to a more physical game at the varsity level will be something to watch this fall because there is no doubt Eskridge has the skillset to be a top player in the class of 2026.
A dude who is truly a problem for opponents when he has the ball Daniel White Daniel White ATH Half Hollow Hills East | 2026 State NY has speed and quickness for days. At running back, White has good vision and is always a threat to bounce a run outside. As a returner, White has good vision, cuts, and showcases his breakaway speed. White has a ton of potential as an ATH and is one of those players that OCs and coaches will try to get the ball in creative ways because good things happen when White is in space. I do want to see development in White’s tape and the ability to execute multiple different run schemes as opposed to bouncing most runs outside, however, can’t blame White for repeatedly doing what works. More opportunities this coming should help showcase White’s ability to expand his game as a playmaker with the ball.
