Each position ranking was shaken up thanks to the new additions. In the rest of this article we are going to dive into each position, and break down the film of the highest ranking newcomer. We start with the signal caller from Elk Mound High School.
The 6’5″ 185 lbs QB is in the process of filling out an impressive frame. The arm to match is there. Logan is able to hit the out routes across the field, or go deep down the field and drop it over DBs and into the basket of his receivers. Jerome also brings good awareness within the pocket and the ability to buy time. Then when he gets forced out of the pocket he can hurt a defense with his legs. Most importantly, Logan has the accuracy needed to excel at the position. Logan is in position to have a breakout junior season this fall. Keep an eye on him.
Shimar burst onto the Prep Redzone WI radar early in the 2022 season. The 6’1″ 190 lbs sophomore RB demonstrated next level ability on a weekly basis. His talent has earned him the RB3 spot in hi debut. Simmons is an upright runner, yet he somehow is still able to play with very good contact balance. He is able to take hits, bounce off tackle attempts, and finish runs with physicality. Shimar is a quicker than fast RB who will leave defenders tackling air with his lateral jukes. He also has the vision to find cut backs, blocks, and find the path of least resistance. Look for him to continue to build on those strengths this fall.
The 6’4″ 200 lbs WR/TE is an impressive specimen among the Class of 2025. He has a massive frame that makes him a big target for his QB. Tyler is a hands catcher, and can pull in passes through hard contact. Lessard is also a basketball player, and from that comes a knowledge of how to use his body to create separation between the ball and defenders when going for the catch. Tyler also surprises with his long speed. He can stretch the field before the catch and take it the distance after the catch. His body control also helps in his route running. He is a smooth athlete who makes changing direction in his routes look easy. Look for Tyler to continue to climb the rankings as his career continues.
The most impressive newcomer on this list is the new TE1. James is a dominant 6’6″ 220 lbs. The big man’s blend of size, athleticism, and strength leave little doubt that he is an FBS level talent. He is able to run away from the defense with his 4.7 long speed. His long strides eat up yards. In the run game, Flanigan gets to flash his strength. At this level, James is already like an extra lineman on the field. He can dig DL out of the trenches and get a push to reset the line of scrimmage downfield. James is also a consistent route runner. He gets to his landmarks, is able to make clean changes of direction, and can maintain good speed throughout the break. Lastly, the big man provides a massive, go-to target with soft, reliable hands. He has already received an offer from the home state Badgers.
Our newest member of the OL rankings is the monster 6’7″ 280 lbs Michael Roeske Michael Roeske 6’7″ | 270 lbs | OL Wautoma | 2025 State WI out of Wautoma. The potential is sky high for the sophomore. Roeske has built a lean, yet very powerful frame. There is no question he can continue to add to it over the coming years and make himself even more dominant. Michael is very light on his feet. He can slide laterally or backwards in pass protection with ease and very queickly. Michael is also able to get out in space and lead block far downfiled thanks to his athleticism and range. The power is off teh charts. He ragdolls defenders with his long arms. Michael is already very impressive, and is just scratfching the surafce. He holds an offer from Indiana, so far. Many more to come.

The 6’6″ 250 lbs DL has the potential to turn himself into a monster if he continues on the path he is on. Pierce is a huge, powerful, athletic DL that is just starting to add the nuanced parts of the position into his game. Pierce has eye catching range and athleticism. He has the speed to chase down plays from behind, and down the field. The motor to match is key as well. Weber has that too. Pierce has also shown to be a slippery block to stick on. He has the ability to slide off blocks with subtle lateral movement and hand use. Watch for Weber to breakout this fall as a junior. Big things ahead.

Our newest member of the 2025 LB group is the 5’11” 185 lbs Menasha LB Carson Miller Carson Miller 6’0″ | 200 lbs | LB Menasha | 2025 State WI . Carson is a rangy, high motor athlete who has proven to be a player who will make the high effort plays. The sideline to sideline pursuit tackles, or the chase down stop. Carson also has an innate ability of avoiding contact between the tackles. In all his highlights you see him staying clean as he moves through the trash scattered throughout the front seven. Yet, he gets to the ball without resistance. That innate ability is not easy to find. Carson is also a reliable tackler. Look for him to make the full time jump to varsity this fall.

Our newest addition to the DB group in the Class of 2025 has the talent to be the cream of the crop by his senior year. Braxton is already a long 6’1″ 180 lbs. His combination of quick feet and loose hips allow him to react as quickly as his eyes read the QB. Murphy’s reactive athleticism allow shim to put himself in position to make a ton of plays. He is able to react to routes, and the eyes of the QB based on the coverage called. Braxton does a good job with his timing at the catch point to be able to get his hands on the ball, and give himself a chance to create a turnover. Murphy also has very good acceleration when he turns to run with receivers. He can instantly go stride for stride with them out of his backpedal. Don’t be surprised to see him climb to #1 at his position. Murphy is a high ceiling athlete.
The 5’11” 180 lbs sophomore out of Mount Horeb is an intriguing prospect in the Class of 2025. He is also our top new addition to the ATH position group. Kiel is an athlete you find a role for on the field. It doesn’t matter if it is RB, WR, or DB. He finds a way to make an impact. He is an explosive athlete, so he is able to be a mismatch at the WR or RB positions. The playmaker already possesses the body control to be able to change direction on a dime, juke, and run sharp routes. All signs point to a breakout 2023 campaign. I’m excited to see how he is used this fall. Make sure he is on your radars.
