While 6′ 200 lbs isn’t the prototypical size, Carson was a stout LB for the Menasha defense in 2023. Carson shined when stuffing the run between the tackles. The junior excels at staying clean in the trenches. He is able to attack the lane while avoiding blockers. Miller has solid lateral mobility that allows him to slide across the formation while staying square so he can trigger downhill and make the tackle when he gets square with the ball carrier. Carson also flashed some range to get out in space and chase down ball carriers that got outside of contain. The LB is a prospect that the D3 level should have their eyes on this summer and fall.

. Carson is a rangy, high motor athlete who has proven to be a player who will make the high effort plays. The sideline to sideline pursuit tackles, or the chase down stop. Carson also has an innate ability of avoiding contact between the tackles. In all his highlights you see him staying clean as he moves through the trash scattered throughout the front seven. Yet, he gets to the ball without resistance. That innate ability is not easy to find. Carson is also a reliable tackler. Look for him to make the full time jump to varsity this fall.
