Ike Owens Ike Owens 6’2″ | QB Jenks | 2023 State OK was impressive in Jenk’s comeback win. He showed poise in the pocket, to go along with good throw power and accuracy. One explosive play after another led to his team coming back. Some of the highlights from this comeback were him having a 31-yard and a 54-yard touchdown passes. Throughout the game, he showed the ability to occasionally scramble. This showed whenever he scored on a 1-yard keeper. Pressure did not faze him down the stretch. He came up with one big play after another. It was mind-blowing to me that he has not received any college offers. Poise, patience, power, field vision, and accuracy can all be used to sum up his game.

Owen Jones
Owen Jones
Owen Jones looked impressive for being a sophomore. He showed poise in the pocket, even when he was being pressured. There were multiple times that he stood in the pocket and absorbed the hit, just to throw a bullet right before the contact. There was one play that he delivered a bullet for a 30-yard touchdown, while falling to the ground. His throw power is good and throw accuracy is solid. He exceled in the short throws and was decent with the long bombs, too. Multiple times, he placed the ball perfectly in the pocket for his receiver to catch. One time he did it for around a 15-yard gain and another time and faced a 3rd and 16, so he picked up 20-yards with a well placed bullet pass. It was a good game for him.
