I apologize for missing out on last week's games to watch but we're back this week for all of the week five action across the Keystone State. First up today, we look at Districts 3 through 6 where we have a lot of quality matchups and good games to take in. We highlight five of those below;

Carlisle vs Chambersburg

In a matchup between 2-2 teams, both the Thundering Herd and Trojans are looking tog get their seasons on track. Chambersburg hasn't been able to get their offense going just yet this season, averaging 24 points per game, and will have to slow down a Carlisle offense that has put up 28+ points in three of their four games this season.

South Western vs Central York

We're set for a good one in Hanover as South Western's stout defense will look to slow down Central York's high-powered offense. The Mustangs have allowed just over 10 points per contest so far this season but are coming off a 20-14 loss to Dallastown last week. Central York, on the other hand, has scored 30+ points in each of their four games and have won two straight after falling to Cumberland Valley in week two.

Southern Columbia vs Danville

This one will likely set the tone for the rest of the season in District 4. Can Danville (4-0) on the season give Southern Columbia a nearly unprecedented second loss of the regular season? The Ironmen have left little doubt they're one of the best teams in all of Pennsylvania scoring 196 points while allowing just 14 this season and are 4-0. They knocked off a strong Loyalsock team last week that previously upset Southern Columbia this season.

Southern Columbia on the other hand bounced back from their 27-10 loss to Loyalsock in week three by dominating Lewisburg last weekend 54-0.

Berlin Brothersville vs Windber

Both teams are walking into this game at 4-0 but only one can remain undefeated. This will be a huge test for Windber's offense as Berlins Brothersville has pitched four consecutive shutouts, outscoring their opponents 174-0. This should be a strong defensive battle and the first one to double-digits may be the one who walks away the winner. Don't see too many points being scored in this one.

Steel Valley vs Ligonier Valley

Finally, Steel Valley and Ligonier Valley square off this evening in District 6 action. While Berlin Brothersville and Windber should be a low-scoring affair, this one has a chance to see a ton of points. Steel Valley has been fantastic defensively so far this season but Ligonier Valley enters this week averaging over 30-points per game. Steel Valley, on the other hand, is totaling just over 48 points per game which will be a tough matchup for the Rams' defense.
