We have players from pretty much all corners of the state. It seems that every year players just get bigger and bigger and bigger at younger ages. Today just speaks to this being the case. So here’s our top offensive linemen of the 2025 class.
Jake Cook Jake Cook 6'5" | 290 lbs | OL Westerville North | 2025 State OH (Westerville North) 6’5 305- Cook is a fun watch on film. He has great feet for his size and he’s technically sound. Oh yeah, and he’s a devastating blocker. When he gets his hands on the opponent he rarely loses the rep. He has tremendous upper body strength that he uses to turn and redirect and literally throw defenders to the ground. At 6’5 305 he already has the size and frame to play D1 football. Jake already has offers from several group of 5 schools and is getting Big Ten interest from Ohio State. I expect the P5 schools to start offering this coming offseason.
Tucker Kattus Tucker Kattus 6'5" | 285 lbs | OL St. Xavier | 2025 State OH (Saint Xavier) 6’5 270- Kattus plays left tackle for the Bombers. When you watch him one of the first things you notice is his athleticism. He has a really good feet that he uses to get good drops in pass pro when defenders try to get the edge. He does a great job of not oversetting and giving up the inside rush. The Bombers run some outside zone runs and in those plays you can see more of the quick feet and athleticism with his slide steps getting down the line. Kattus is the younger brought of Josh Kattus who is a freshman Tight End at the University of Kentucky. Tucker also has an offer from Kentucky and an offer from Miami of Ohio as well.
Ameer Yasin Ameer Yasin 6'6" | 295 lbs | OL Talmadge | 2025 State OH (Tallmadge) 6’6 295- Yasin plays left guard for Tallmadge. 6’6 295 he has a great frame and length. Yasin does a good job of mirroring defenders and staying and is really quick for a player of his size. He’s used as a pulling guard on run plays in the Blue Devils running attack. Yasin just needs to continue getting stronger, both in his upper and lower body.
Carter Lowe Carter Lowe 6'6" | 290 lbs | OL Whitmer | 2025 State OH (Whitmer) 6’6 290- Lowe is a big bodied offensive lineman who plays with great balance and anchor. He’s patient and trusts his athleticism and ability. As a run blocker he uses a strong upper body to over power his opponents. He also does a great job of resetting his feet when he’s engaged with defenders, constantly resetting and gaining back leverage. Sometimes you see lineman engage in a block and their feet just stop, this is not the case with Lowe. He’s often used as a pulling guard, and let me tell you he’s a freight train when he gets moving in space. He’s also solid in getting to the second level and making blocks in space. Lowe’s recruitment is starting to pick up as he’s starting to get power 5 interest.
Raphael Greene Raphael Greene 6'6" | 340 lbs | OL Winton Woods | 2025 State OH (Winton Woods) At 6’6 340, Greene has a huge frame. He’s surprising mobile for a young man of his size. He does a good job of stalemating the defender at the point of attack. Raphael also does a good job of getting to the second level and latching onto linebackers. Greene needs to continue to get stronger and more explosive, but like they say you can’t teach size and he has that in spades. I’m excited to watch Raphael’s continued development and dominance on the field.
