Jake had an excellent season in 2023. He helped the Westerville North Warriors to a 9-win season where they advanced to the 2nd round of the playoffs and averaged 27.67 points per game. He lines up at LT. While run blocking, he fires out low and generates movement at the point of attack with his very good foot drive and grip strength. He exhibits very good physical toughness as he finishes the block to the ground for a pancake. In pass pro, he plays with a good, wide base and keeps his feet moving. He negates the progress of the DE at the LOS using his good length, play strength and use of hands. He exhibits great mental toughness as well as he elevates his play near the goal line.

In 2022, Jake’s excellent play was a bright spot in the 3-8 season of the Westerville North Warriors where they averaged 21.6 points per game. He plays as a LT. In pass pro, he sets up quick with a good base and shows good flexibility as he bends. He shows good football intelligence and reactive athleticism as he locates the blitzing LB. He exhibits very good play strength as he delivers a powerful punch to the frame of his man sending him to the ground with ease. While run blocking, he shows good lateral quickness to win the outside shoulder of the 5T on zone blocks. He displays rare physical toughness as he finishes the block to the ground for the pancake.

While run blocking, he uses his awesome combination of play strength and physical toughness to overpower DE with ease as he throws them to the ground for a pancake. In pass pro, he plays with a good, wide base and keeps his feet constantly moving. He uses his elite play strength and good use of hands to finish the block to the ground and gives the QB a clean pocket to operate from.
