Raphael had a great Junior season in 2023. His very good play helped the Winton Woods Warriors to an 8-win season where they advanced to the 2nd round of the playoffs and averaged 20.2 points per game. He shows great position versatility as he lines up at LG, RG and LT. In pass pro, he does a good job of keeping his feet moving and uses his good hand use and play strength to negate the progress of the DE giving the QB more time to pass the ball. While run blocking, he generates good movement at the POA with his great physical toughness as he creates a lane for the RB.

He lines up at RT. He is an excellent run blocker who effectively uses his quality play strength and physicality to overwhelm the LB at the point of attack and prevents him from making the tackle. While in pass pro, he does a great job of using his hands to impede the progress of the DE as he prevents him from penetrating the LOS and finishing up with a sack.

In pass pro, he shows quick feet with solid bend and uses his good use of hands to win battles with his hands inside and uses his excellent play strength to negate the progress of the DE at the point of attack giving the QB a clean pocket to operate from. While run blocking, he displays very good play strength as he drives the DE off the ball with ease. He plays to the whistle exhibiting quality physical toughness as he ends the play by finishing the block to the ground.
