Since the last rankings, there have been dramatic shifts in who lies where. This update considers a whole offseason of work, alongside 2 weeks of regular-season ball and college offers.
So now, I bring you the new top 5 of the 2025 class!
Bryce Underwood Bryce Underwood 6’3″ | 205 lbs | QB Belleville | 2025 State MI is far and wide the #1 c/o 2025 player in Michigan. Already with 22 offers and a state championship to his name, the 6’3 205lb QB is the real deal, and will soon become the new face of Michigan High School Football.
Having gone 17-23 for 236 yards and 3TDs vs Novi, it’s safe to say he’s still on the path to be an elite star, and one of the best QBs in the nation.
As for specific fundamental ability, he’s way ahead of the curve when it comes to IQ, he can run the ball when he has to, doesn’t panic in the pocket, and is exceptionally accurate.
From a top-tier program that is known to produce college and NFL talent ✓
Already had two elite offers from Michigan and Oregon ✓
Amazing size at 6’3 240lbs ✓
Performed extremely well during offseason ✓
Willie Fletcher Willie Fletcher 6’3″ | 240 lbs | DL Detroit King | 2025 State MI is one of those guys from King that you know is going to develop into a beast. Both Michigan and Oregon see amazing things in him, and frankly, as long as he puts in the work, he could be one of the best DL prospects we’ve had in a while.
Coming off a great offseason with Legacy and offers from Michigan, Kentucky, and Louisville, Alex Graham Alex Graham 6’1″ | 185 lbs | ATH Cass Tech | 2025 MI is surely one of our brightest young stars. He’s an athlete who knows how to walk the walk, as his older cousin Dante Moore Dante Moore 6’2″ | 210 lbs | QB Detroit King | 2023 State MI has surely showed him by example how to become an elite football player.
I see the dedication, I see the commitment, and I see the fundamental prowess he already has over the vast majority of his peers.
With offers from Michigan, Syracuse, CMU, alongside glowing reviews from Rising Stars Academy, I’m supremely confident Bobby Kanka Bobby Kanka 6’4″ | 255 lbs | DL Howell | 2025 State MI will continue developing into a beast.
Kanka is a transfer from Pinckney to Howell, and now he’ll be facing tougher competition on a grander stage. He played well last week against Canton, and I’m looking forward to seeing him face off against Brighton late in the season.
Highlights
Yet another explosive athlete from Chippewa Valley.
Lanier has performed extremely well this past offseason, attending many Rising Stars events. I love his twitchiness and route-running. He’s also a master at TD dances.
He’s earned himself offers from UMass, Ole Miss, Marshall, and others. I expect him to continuously improve and become a star on Friday Nights.
