Lanier could have an absolutely unbelievable 2024 season. He’s the kind of receiver that can get open in a variety of ways. He can create separation with quick cuts and great fakes, he can speed by the DBs and have them beat quickly, and he can win 50/50 balls with his great athleticism. The Chippewa Valley offense is elite more often than not, and I think Lanier is going to have ample opportunity to have some incredible numbers. Look for a huge explosion from Deshaun Lanier Deshaun Lanier 5'11" | 165 lbs | WR Chippewa Valley | 2025 State MI in his senior season.

Deshaun is a guy that can just flat out get open. He runs quick and efficient routes, and can get physical with DBs to get possession of jump balls. He can be a deep threat who can stretch the field with his wide catch radius, or he can be a solid and reliable receiver in the short and intermediate passing game, who can get you a ton of extra yardage as well. His quick footwork around the goal line allows him to run precise and quick and precise enough routes to get open on even the tightest coverage. He’s already shattering records, and that will absolutely continue in his senior season.

Yet another explosive athlete from Chippewa Valley.
Lanier has performed extremely well this past offseason, attending many Rising Stars events. I love his twitchiness and route-running. He’s also a master at TD dances.
He’s earned himself offers from UMass, Ole Miss, Marshall, and others. I expect him to continuously improve and become a star on Friday Nights.
