[player_tooltip player_id='268315' first='AJ' last='Lyons-Jerrell'] - 2025 Running Back - Pocola
7 Carries - 154 Yards - 4 Touchdowns - 30 Yard Passing Touchdown

Pocola moving down to Class A has immediately made them a team to watch this fall in that class and a big reason behind that is the 2025 running back [player_tooltip player_id='268315' first='AJ' last='Lyons-Jerrell']. He had a breakout freshman season and appears to be one of the top running backs in a very loaded 2025 class. Jerrell had an excellent scrimmage last week and this could be just the start of what's to come from him this fall. He finished with over 150 yards and four touchdowns and only had seven carries. He also threw a 30-yard touchdown pass. It's clear that Pocola is going to get creative with how they use their potential superstar at running back.

[player_tooltip player_id='54349' first='Blaze' last='Berlowitz'] - 2023 Quarterback - Cushing
12-17 - 294 Yards - 3 Touchdowns

One player that found his way on this weekly list quite a bit last season was Cushing 2023 quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='54349' first='Blaze' last='Berlowitz']. There's no doubt that Berlowitz has quite the supporting cast at wide receiver but he continues to put up monster numbers at the quarterback position. Berlowitz threw for nearly 300 yards and three touchdowns as the top ranked Tigers look to be a serious threat in Class 4A. They're looking to put the memories of last year's playoffs behind them as they have one more scrimmage tuneup before opening up the 2022 season in week one against Bristow.

[player_tooltip player_id='157515' first='Chance' last='Wilson'] - 2023 Quarterback - Rejoice Christian
11-13 - 257 Yards - 5 Touchdowns - 96 Rushing Yards - 2 Rushing Touchdowns

It shouldn't be a surprise at this point when Rejoice Christian quarterback and Montana State commit [player_tooltip player_id='157515' first='Chance' last='Wilson'] puts up insane numbers but here we are. They only played two quarters against Sperry and Wilson threw for over 250 yards and five touchdowns and also added nearly 100 yards and a pair of rushing touchdowns. Wilson was a finalist for our Player Of The Year award last year and it looks like he's picked up right where he left off from his phenomenal junior season. Rejoice Christian will also be playing in one of week zero's top games as the Eagles will travel to face two-time Class A champ Cashion.

[player_tooltip player_id='219073' first='DJ' last='McKinney'] - 2023 Running Back - Union
12 Touches - 200 Yards - 3 Touchdowns

Union would end up going into overtime with Bentonville, Arkansas in their mini game on Thursday night. Star running back [player_tooltip player_id='219073' first='DJ' last='McKinney'] finished off an excellent scrimmage with the game-winning touchdown in the overtime period. That would cap off a night where he was a threat in the run and pass game. McKinney finished with 200 total yards on 12 touchdowns and three total touchdowns, including the game-winning TD in overtime. McKinney and the Redhawks will open up their 2022 season at home on Friday night, welcoming in Westmoore before facing rivals Broken Arrow and Jenks in back to back weeks.

[player_tooltip player_id='211562' first='Rhett' last='Winchester'] - 2025 Athlete - Edmond Memorial
15 Touches - 227 Yards

We've written quite a bit about Edmond Memorial's young talent and how the Bulldogs could be primed for a breakout year and surprise quite a few teams. One of those young and talented prospects is 2025 athlete [player_tooltip player_id='211562' first='Rhett' last='Winchester'] and he got loose quite a bit during the scrimmage week. He touched the ball 15 times and would finish with nearly 230 total yards. Winchester is another 2025 prospect to keep an eye on moving forward. He was already on our radar and after a stellar start like that, we have even more reason to be excited about the Bulldogs. They open up the season at home this week against Moore.
