Continue ReadingThe season kicks off Thursday with several varsity games taking place, and of course, the majority getting underway on Friday night. As we prepare to kickoff the season let’s take a look at who is in position to be in the running for Player of the Year here at Prep Redzone WI. This has been an honor we give out at the end of each season. It goes to the athlete who put up huge numbers, had a massive impact on his team, and his team finished with a winning record. Athletes who best meet all three requirements will earn spots as quarter-finalists, semifinalists, and finalists. We will then announce our winner in late November/ early December. Before we get to all that, let’s see who is poised to make a run at the award by highlighting some of the top athletes I expect to be in the running.
