It has been great seeing Gabe back on the field this season after missing all of 2022. It was even more impressive seeing him in person and play snap to snap. After seeing him in person, it is clear he needs to be ranked as an ATH. Coming in we knew about his play at RB. He is a physical runner with a lot of power in his 6′ 205 lbs. Klatt is able to run through arm tackles, and his low center of gravity is very hard to get off balance without the help of gang tackling. Where I was very impressed also was his play at safety. That is where we really got to see how much more gifted he is with his physicality. Not only did he have the range to be able to be a force against the run from his 12 yard deep safety spot, but he also delivered sound, hard hits when he got to the ball. He also proved to have the strength to be able to disengage with blocks in the box. Gabe has a solid frame, good athleticism, and the strength to handle the college level. He holds an offer from Augustana. Don’t miss this kid!

Stats: 28 Carries, 230 Yards, 2 TDsrnI have been waiting for Gabe’s return to the field, and his first week didn’t disappoint. The 6′ 205 lbs senior reminded us of how physical he is with the ball in his hands. His contact balance allows him to easily run through arm tackles, and he can lower the shoulder and run over opponents. Klatt also showed that he does have the athletic traits as well, including the speed to be able to create the long runs after breaking through traffic. On defense, Gabe was a heat seeking missile. He played downhill, closed quickly, and delivered big hits to the RBs. Great first week for the Beaver Dam senior.

. Klatt started his summer off on the right foot at the camp. Gabe sure looks the part of a back who can handle a large workload at 6′ 206 lbs. The bigger back also showed off his powerful lower body with a 9’3″ broad and 35.5″ vertical. That leg drive/power has been key to his game. He runs through tackles, pushes the pile, and when he hits the open field has 4.76 speed to make big plays. Look for him to get back to his dominant play this fall.

The 6′ 205 lbs RB debuts at RB5 just outside of the Top 50 overall players. Gabe burst onto the scene parlaying a strong sophomore season with a great camp season including a strong Prep Redzone WI Showcase outing. The film is fun to watch. Gabe runs behind his pads, and his ability to run through contact is stamped all over his highlight reel. He also has 4.8 40 speed, but seems to play faster on the field where he is able to break contain and win down the sideline. Klatt is a well balanced back that is going to put up numbers for a Beaver Dam team that looks to make a playoff push. Looking forward to this season’s tape.
