Another one of the top uncommitted seniors I couldn’t wait to see live was the massive 6’3″ 220 lbs FB/DE Camron Mendoza Camron Mendoza 6'3" | 220 lbs | ATH Beaver Dam | 2024 State WI . Mendoza made a big impression on both sides of the ball. On offense, Mendoza was a force to try and stop. His long TD showed off his strength as he ran through arm tackles, and stiff armed DBs off of him before turning on the speed. Camron also was a powerful lead blocker that was able to move the pile or completely clear LBs out of holes for Gabe to follow through. On defense is where Camron projects best at the next level. He played stand up edge for Beaver Dam last night. It was a great fit. We saw his strength shine as he took on several pullers, stood them up, and then got off the block to make the tackle for no gain. Mendoza is very well put together and looks like he has the power to do the same role at the next level. He also showed off some pass rush ability. Camron was able to run the loop and display a little bend on his way to a 3rd & long sack late in the 3rd quarter. Mendoza is a force on the edge and pairs up with Klatt to make one of the scariest backfields in the state. Don’t sleep on this kid. I believe he is still looking for his first offer.

Watch List Up to #68rnCamron is an interesting prospect. He was ultra productive in his time on the field, as he averaged 228 rushing yards per game from Weeks 3-6. The 6’3″ 210 lbs junior has a big frame that is ready to fill out, and also runs a 4.60 reported 40 time. Maybe his next level home isn’t at RB, but with that size, speed, and power there is a place for him. On tape, Camron is a beast with the ball in his hands. His ability to bring himself back to balanced from awkward positions after tackle attempts is not seen very often; especially at his size. Mendoza is also a patient runner. He finds his spots instead of plowing into the line, and it led to a lot of big platys. Beaver Dam is in position to field a scary running game this fall.
