Jackson is a familiar name on the PRZ WI site. I have attended multiple games of his, thanks to his back to back state championships. He came into the season as one of the best QBs, and only pushed himself further up the position rankings. There is so much to like about his game. The size you look for at 6’5″ 220 lbs. He is a dual threat that can run in the 4.7s. His best trait of all, though, is touch and accuracy. Flottmeyer has a special ability to put the ball exactly where he wants it. Not just place it, but place it with the correct velocity to hit the windows or beat the leverage of the DB. He can thread it through tight windows with velocity or drop it in a bucket over the shoulder of a receiver. Jackson has a prototypical throwing motion. One that can get the ball out quickly despite his big frame and long arms. He is one of, if not the #1, best QB available in WI.

The 6’5″ 220 lbs senior QB impresses me every time I watch him. He has a great frame for the position. The footwork is smooth and consistent. He makes quick, decisive choices with his attempts, and his ball placement and touch are his top traits. I was also impressed with his accuracy while on the run. Multiple times last night, Jackson was on designed roll outs. He would still be able to place the ball with pinpoint accuracy while on the run. Flottmeyer also has the mobility to hurt defenses beyond the line of scrimmage, and especially while buying time in the backfield. With so many strong traits I am surprised that he only has an offer from Winona State. Jackson is one of the best at his position, and one of the best uncommitted seniors in WI overall.

At the halfway point, Jackson has the 6th most passing yards, 15th most passing TDs, and the 8th most passing yards per game. He has his team at 4-0 following an undefeated state championship in 2021.

Not only does Flottmeyer has the size, the production, and the success. He also has the traits that will translate to the next level. The pocket passer stands tall in the pocket, reads the field quickly, and makes correct decisions. Jackson has a quick release, and the arm to get the ball to every level of the field with velocity. He has pinpoint accuracy, putting the ball where only his guy has a good chance to haul it in. His leadership is evident as he has led very different rosters to successful  seasons. Flottmeyer is a winner that needs more looks form the  next level. He holds one offer, so far.
