The time is finally here, the 2022 high school football season is officially underway! To kick things off, I will focus on my hometown and area I know the best, Lexington. This is a growing city as far as football talent goes over the past several years but these are the players that stood out on the offensive side of the ball.

Other Players to Watch:

Quarterback: [player_tooltip player_id='373049' first='Luke' last='Pennington'] (Sayre, 2025), [player_tooltip player_id='392838' first='Trenton' last='Cutwright'] (Bryan Station, 2024), [player_tooltip player_id='313677' first='Andrew' last='Witherington'] (Tates Creek, 2024), [player_tooltip player_id='417268' first='Ethan' last='Teall'] (Dunbar, 2024), [player_tooltip player_id='313649' first='Cole' last='Carpenter'] (Frederick Douglass 2024)

Running Back: [player_tooltip player_id='385940' first='Jayden' last='Bailey'] (Henry Clay, 2023), J'Veontae Emerson (LCA, 2023)

Wide Receiver: [player_tooltip player_id='373048' first='Brock' last='Coffman'] (Sayre, 2025), [player_tooltip player_id='385953' first='Jaden' last='Commodore'] (Dunbar, 2023), Keshon Douthitt (Tates Creek, 2023), [player_tooltip player_id='386150' first='Myles' last='Moseley'] (Frederick Douglass 2023)

Tight End: [player_tooltip player_id='381929' first='Will' last='Rich'] (LCA 2024)

Offensive Line: [player_tooltip player_id='408045' first='Victor' last='Edwards'] (Bryan Station, 2024), [player_tooltip player_id='419798' first='Devan' last='Young'] (Tates Creek, 2024)

ATH: Marquevion Smith (Tates Creek, 2024)
