ACC programs have keyed in on all things Zeke Bates Zeke Bates 6'0" | 210 lbs | RB Malvern Prep | 2026 State PA . A top five running back prospect, a name we have mentioned in previous posts that is likely to blow up nationally, you can see that flame being kindled in real time. Offers out of Boston College and Virginia Tech within the last four weeks. This coming after RMU and Kent State stamped the back earlier in the year. I circled this one as a lock for P4 looks, hit on this eval.

In Ezekiel Bates’ case, it’s not as easy to show up to a camp and have coaches immediately flocking to your drill. He isn’t a 6’5, 230 EDGE rusher or OLB. He isn’t a 6’6 OL with flexible hips. Bates is a back, a damn good one, a top-five back in his class at that. Bates is going to have to impress as a tester, and for my knowledge, the young man is as seasoned and ready to work as anyone in the state. 5’11, 195, great grades while being coaches by a staff with an extensive track record. Kent State pulled the trigger on Bates back in December, they see what we see, a back who is likely to trend upwards in terms of recruiting traction this coming Spring/Summer. If you see Bates on roster, circle his name. A lock for FCS attention, especially if his grades are well off. Carries a G5 grade, I wouldn’t be surprised to see P5s reach out at some point in his career either.
