- Arguably the best performance of any single prospect in this list from a production perspective. Was in the face of La Salle’s QB nearly 10+ times, that’s at least what it felt like. Registered 2 sacks on the night from what I can recall. Consistently saw double-teams and OL shifts his way, no avail, I might be drastically underrating Parkinson despite his elite ranking on our site. 6’4, 240 pounds, 4.15 GPA, currently one of the best EDGE rushers in all of Pennsylvania, sits atop his class, too.
- There is more to his run defense than simply overpowering whoever lines up across from him. He processes blocking action well, slips traffic before it can square him up and has a knack for keeping himself available when offenses pull bodies in his direction. The effort is equally valuable, as he will chase plays down from the backside and erase space quickly once a runner breaks into daylight. At the line of scrimmage, he prefers to bring the fight to the blocker, attacking immediately with heavy contact before working off that engagement in either direction. His first step gives that approach even more juice, allowing a thickly built defender to generate speed quickly and turn it into legitimate disruption. He already shows variety and confidence with his hands, although playing with better pad level and becoming sturdier against two blockers are the clearest areas for growth. More refinement there could make an already powerful, explosive and high effort edge defender considerably more productive as a pass rusher.

George Parkinson is the number 2 player in the state for a reason. He is a great player with immense talent. He looks, breaths, and acts like a top-edge player. He also has the size (6’4″) and athleticism you want in an edge player. His most recent offers are from top programs LSU, Oregon, Penn State, and Texas A&M. He also has plenty of other offers. He recently visited Penn State and Virginia Tech. He is one of the most sought-after prospects in the state.
Looking forward to visiting Virginia Tech tomorrow. Grateful for the opportunity 🦃🙏 #HokieNation #entersandman @coachjfranklin @SpenceChaos @Jan_JohnsonVT @chrismahon_ @angmdemar @CoachTHowle @tolbert_nance @ChadSimmons_ @adamgorney @EdOBrienCFB @AO1Sports_ pic.twitter.com/z7s4gSfHqf

is a talented edge defender from Malvern Prep in the 2028 class. He is ranked as the 2nd-best prospect in the state. His skills and talent are unbelievable, as he racked up 15 sacks last year. So, after visiting and working out at Ohio State, he picked up an offer from Ohio State. That is well deserved offer, and I am sure a lot more offers from top programs will be coming soon.
After a great camp/workout and conversation with @R2X_Rushmen1 I am extremely blessed to have received an offer from THE Ohio State University! #gobucks @ryandaytime @OhioStateFB @OhioStAthletics @CoachM_Patrick @CoachDubb_Drick @CoachGueriera @MalvernPrepFB @adamgorney… pic.twitter.com/rMMYrxoRq2

6’4, 228 pounds. 4.08 GPA. Elevated from a top ten prospect to the #1 EDGE 2028 in Pennsylvania. Is currently one spot behind Harrison for the class’s top overall ranking. Registered 15 sacks and 17 TFLs as a Freshman for Malvern Prep.
Great in the weight room, I haven’t seen Parkinson IV in person yet through Twitter alone I can see the physical growth he’s undertaken. Hit 305 on the bench for two reps as a 15-year-old, impressive number. Holds offers out of Penn State and Maryland, surprised he hasn’t been offered by more Power Four programs recruiting 2028s in the Northeast. Reminds me of a young

, we’ll see if his body and technique develops in a similar manner. The crew at Malvern Prep certainly have a good track record of developing young linemen. Tape shows impressive closing speed, arguably my favorite trait out of Parkinson right now. Can hunt and eat up ground once he can disengage from his initial matchup. Can rush with his hand on or off the dirt, but looks most comfortable standing up at the LOS. Love the angles he takes to the football post-get-off, can blow up blocks, not shy to take on pullers to stop backs in their tracks behind the LOS. Good hand user for his age, if he can continue to work in the weight room to overpower TEs and OTs with ease while maintaining tech usage, he’ll stay among the best this class to offer three years from now.

George Parkinson has a great combination of size, strength, and athleticism. As an edge player, he is hard to block because of his physical traits. Standing 6’4″ inches tall Parkinson is able to be disruptive against offensive tackles. He also has a good plan every time he attacks offensive linemen. He shows good technique as he uses his hands well to rip through offensive linemen trying to block. He also has a motor that never quits and he does a good job chasing plays all over the field. Parkinson recently picked up an offer from Penn State, I expect more Division 1 offers from him.
Extremely blessed, and thankful to receive an offer from Penn State. #WeAre🦁 Thank you Jesus🙏🏻@MalvernPrepFB @CoachGueriera @DBarnes_18 @CoachTerryPSU @coachjfranklin @DMV_Hype @GarageStrength @knnysndrs @ChadSimmons_ @EdOBrienCFB @TheUCReport @RivalsFriedman @RyanSnyderOn3… pic.twitter.com/AIlGgy9G0w
