is as close you’ll get to a college ready WR in any year of high school but he’s just a sophomore. The 6’3” 190 pound WR is as technically sound as you’ll get. His routes are precise and he catches defenders slipping on his quick stop routes. He has a press release package that he uses featuring a little shimmy and shoulder dip that’s veteran like. You’ll notice he’s always catching with his hands, rarely his body. On the blocking end it’s rare to find an WR juiced up to drive a DB into the dirt, well Cooper gets fired up every time which is nice to see. Another positive for Cooper is he’s offering you special teams looks, he has some return ability but also some coverage ability. Cooper already holds power 5 offers, some like Virginia Tech, Syracuse, and Maryland according to On3 sports. Cooper had a big year as a sophomore and will only continue to build that momentum into next season.

is a good wide receiver who has a great combination of speed, and athleticism to play the position. In the 2027 class of wide receivers, I think Cooper runs the best routes. His ability to run routes and to cut and make subtle moves is impressive for a sophomore. You add that ability with his speed and athleticism, and you got a game-breaker. He also catches the ball well in tight windows. He shows good body control by catching the ball low and high when the ball is not thrown perfectly. Finally, he can score anytime he touches the ball by taking it to the end zone. Cooper is one of the most complete wide receivers in this class.

out of Malvern Prep. The 2027 WR is among the best in the state. We have him at the #3 spot! Cooper is a 6’2 | 175 lb threat on Malvern’s offense. Cade has picked up 2 Division 1 offers thus far. I believe he will only continue to add on to that list. Let’s check out the offers he has currently!
Offers: Kent State, Virginia Tech
Cooper is a hard worker that is prepared to prove to everyone that he is a big time college football player!

Cooper recently added his first Power Four offer from Virginia Tech to add to an early offer from Kent State. The Malvern Prep wide receiver should continue to see his recruitment take off over the next few months and don’t be surprised if he really blows up on the recruiting trail this fall.

is a big physical wide receiver. He showed good athleticism at the showcase as well. Cooper did well the entire camp but especially did a good job during one-on-one drills. Most defensive backs had a hard time stopping him. Cooper is one of the most talented players in the 2027 class.

is a talented wide receiver. In a limited film from last year you can see he is a talented player. Cooper shows good athleticism and speed at the receiver position. He shows that he can catch the ball well in traffic and separate from defenders. Cooper is also good after the catch and making people miss in space. Cooper should be a bigger contributor next year for Malvern Prep and I expect a big year from him.

Cade Cooper is one of the more impressive all-around athletes that I have had a chance to evaluate out of this 2027 class. The Keystone State athlete has recently announced he’ll be heading to Malvern Prep in Pennsylvania for high school. The 6-foot-2, 170-pound Cooper will be another big weapon for the Friars, whose varsity program finished 8-2 a year ago en route to the No.15. ranking in the state, per MaxPreps. Cooper primarily plays Wide Receiver, but has shown the ability to play multiple positions at a high level on both sides of the ball. He’s certainly is in the upper-echelon of the athleticism department and has no problem creating when he has the ball in his hands. He’s a long-strider who can cover a ton of ground in a short amount of time. With him being such a dangerous weapon with the ball in his hands, it is obvious why he earned CYO (Catholic Youth Organization) MVP this past season. Being the plug-and-play athlete that he is, I would not be surprised to see him stack up some high offensive output games at the high school level early on in his career. He could be the answer on the outside that the run-first team (last year) was searching for.
