An unreal performance put forth by the Akron commit. I’ll talk more about Cobbold on our ranking boost section below. Four scores, all of which of a high degree of difficulty. Was a pleasure to watch him dominate this football game.

Yeboa Cobbold played as a defensive back and some quarterback at the showcase event. At defensive back, he shows good coverage skills. In the position drills, he showed good speed and acceleration. Where he stood out was his man-to-man skills. He has the makings of an elite defensive back. Cobbold has elite athletic skills.

. Cobbold put forth the best pass-catching performance of the year from any Crusader in the loss to SCH. Six catches for just under 80 yards. Cobbold has eclipsed the 100-yard mark through two games, with a score, while serving as a quality safety for the program.

I could make the case (an easy one) that Yeboa Cobbold is the most physically gifted prospect on the team. We saw him burst onto the scene as a freshman last Fall, with plenty of hype surrounding his name. All the hype led to six interceptions, one that was returned for a touchdown, 20+ total tackles, and exemplary DB work as an all-around football player.
6’1, a well-built 170-pounds, you can find Cobbold working as a two-man or single-high safety. The range, IQ, ball skills, and experience is all there to trust him at this spot. I like his projection to DB at the next level, yet every time he does something special at QB or at WR I often second-guess myself. A supreme athlete, one who I think is a candidate for early-offer consideration. A prospect who would rank inside the top five at DB, ATH, maybe even WR if I’m being honest. Excited to see how Cobbold affects the turf this coming Fall.

So much potential Cobbold has, a 6’1 athlete who can play safety, corner and can throw! Yeboa makes plays as safety, you can see they knowledge he displays every time he is reading the opposing quarterbacks eyes. Lansdale Catholic should be excited for this kid, he really does seem to do it all. A rising freshman for the class of 2026, Cobbold is just scratching the surface of what he can accomplish.

I think many recruiters on the East Coast don’t understand how impressive an athlete Yeboa Cobbold Jr. is at the moment. He’ll prove himself on the camp circuit in time, yet the QB/DB prospect continues to open eyes throughout the 7v7 scene. I’ve witnessed countless elite athletes work in person, Yeboa Cobbold Jr. fits the mold. Early offers will only come if he tests well at camps this Summer. Those early offers might not show themselves for some time, considering he has strides to make in development at both Safety and Quarterback.

The youth on this team is evident. No senior ranks higher amongst our lists, yet that doesn’t mean there aren’t prominent senior prospects that fill in crucial roles for the team. Junior standout Quarterback

stands as the highest ranking 2024 prospect, placing as a top ten quarterback in his class. Meehan’s first three-game stat line goes as follows.
31 for 39, 498 yards, 7 touchdowns.
A dominant start, Meehan has since come down to Earth as the competition level begins to pick up. I’m happy I got to see Meehan play against an excellent defense in Neumann-Goretti. I know he can tear up the NH-Ss of the world. I wanted to see what he’s capable of against D1-level defenders. The stats don’t paint the whole picture. Yes, Meehan struggled at times, yet he didn’t exactly have the time or weapons running free to complete the passes he’s been completing all year. I loved the toughness he showed throughout the NG game. He didn’t falter or fall into bad habits. He didn’t see ghosts. He kept his head down and did his best to make the right reads and execute the throws. He will grow from games like his last two.
I scanned the field for number 24, didn’t see him, so I assumed
Chris Ulmer

wasn’t on the field. I had a hard time believing that though, considering 51 on defense was making stop after stop. Turns out 51 is Ulmer’s new number. The top-ten linebacking prospect looked the part. This kid has what it takes to be a special linebacker, hoping we can keep Ulmer this high on the rankings for the duration of his time in HS. Same sentiment for Boa Cobbold, a kid I recently discovered through Prep Redzone Next. I loved his initial skillset and tape too, placing him high on our initial freshman lists. Looking at Cobbold on the field and in tape, it’s tough to even discern that he’s a freshman out there playing his first snaps of HS football, albeit against many D1 opponents. This kid is big time, trust me when I say we have yet to see the best version of Cobbold Jr.

might prolong that opportunity, which would be in the program’s favor at this point. We all know how high Meehan’s ceiling is. It’s good to know that Cobbold can still contribute to the team in some fashion. I couldn’t dig up much tape outside of a few Twitter clips. Said clips showed Cobbold come up with an interception from his safety spot. His build looks ideal to play wideout or defensive back as well. He’s a kid I will have my eye on from here on out.
