Continue ReadingA ton of promise and potential, that was the buzz around Cole Meehan Cole Meehan 6’2″ | 190 lbs | QB Lansdale Catholic | 2024 State PA last August. Meehan cashed in on a 1,500-yard passing season, coupled with an even 15 touchdowns through the air. I feel like the kid didn’t get enough love from outside media outlets, hardly something Meehan should have been worried about. Meehan capitalized on a special junior year, posting a 3.8 GPA and spending the offseason camping locally.
Through nothing more than hard work on and off the field, Meehan managed to secure FBS and FCS offers alike, with Buffalo, Merrimack, Saint Francis, and Maine extending offers to the senior passer late into the Spring.
Confidence should be through the roof, defenses should be weary of the most stout and seasoned version of Cole Meehan Cole Meehan 6’2″ | 190 lbs | QB Lansdale Catholic | 2024 State PA spearheading this Crusader football team. Now committed to Merrimack football, recruiting status secured, production and accolades to his name, Cole Meehan Cole Meehan 6’2″ | 190 lbs | QB Lansdale Catholic | 2024 State PA isn’t going to catch anyone off guard this Fall. Excited to see what he has in store.

The Crusaders will deploy senior linebacker and one hell of a producer, Bobby Lombardo Bobby Lombardo 6’0″ | 175 lbs | LB Lansdale Catholic | 2024 State PA for his final stint at the program.
3.6 GPA, 6’0, 185. Was a handful of tackles short of leading the team in that category, that says a lot. Three TFLs to his name, 1.5 sacks too.
Served inside linebacker duties as a junior and will likely do so again this coming Fall. Lombardo shows off lateral speed at the position, makes sense considering he’s a bit on the lighter side of the weight spectrum. His tape shows off plenty of tackles outside the hash marks, tackles that Bobby wouldn’t have come down with if not for his motor and effort to chase plays down. Lombardo blends a DB build with a backers mentality. I believe the young man has put on some pounds, interested in seeing how it could alter his game/tape.

Lansdale Catholic has a young man on the sidelines waiting to burst back onto the scene. I haven’t forgotten about the 2021 season Carson Bethea Carson Bethea 6’0″ | 165 lbs | WR The New Church | 2024 State PA put forth back at New Church. After a junior year derailed by injury, Bethea is back in a new uniform but is expected to bring back the same flare and electric playmaking ability he once possessed.
6’0, 165 pounds, 3.1 GPA. 42 receptions for 806 yards and seven scores back in 2021. Tack on scores on the ground, when returning kicks, as well as on defense. It’s tough to project Bethea’s future role at the program. I have to imagine LC will utilize this kid’s skillset at all three phases of the game, so long as this is a healthy Bethea. This kid is going to affect every game he’s in. He’ll have to be accounted for.

One of the best junior linebackers in the state of Pennsylvania is back for another year full of solos, and TFLs. Chris Ulmer Chris Ulmer 6’3″ | 220 lbs | LB Lansdale Catholic | 2025 State PA , the Crusaders leading tackler as a sophomore, will be back in action likely beside senior Bobby Lombardo Bobby Lombardo 6’0″ | 175 lbs | LB Lansdale Catholic | 2024 State PA . The pair account for nearly three-quarters of the team’s combined tackle numbers. Ulmer brings a little more to the table, however.
A nose for the football, great Read and react ability to both passes in his zone, and flow of blocking when attempting to plug holes in the run game. Outstanding closing speed too, Ulmer’s lock-on ability triggers quick, once it does, he’s bringing his entire 6’2.5, 210-pound frame with him. You can expect a multi-faceted role presented to Ulmer this Fall, one that will have him align in the middle of the defense, either plugging gaps or running occasional blitzes that often lead to sacks. Ulmer possesses a skill set that would allow him to eat at OLB/EDGE/MLB, even safety although not ideal. His football make-up reminds me a bit of SJP’s Anthony Sacca Anthony Sacca 6’4″ | 220 lbs | LB St. Joseph’s Prep | 2025 State PA to an extent. LC will have a good one roaming the defense this Fall.

Carson Bethea Carson Bethea 6’0″ | 165 lbs | WR The New Church | 2024 State PA might be in the house, but I’d be remiss if I didn’t speak on the Crusaders 2022 season leader in rushing (690), receiving (370), and scoring. That being junior Jacahi Streeter Jacahi Streeter 5’7″ | 160 lbs | ATH Lansdale Catholic | 2025 State PA . Carries an unassuming build, 5’8, 165, don’t let those numbers sway your perception of the young man. Often the man stationed next to Meehan in shotgun sets, Streeter is a cannon waiting to pop from anywhere on the field. All the kid needs is a little crease that he can exploit. If a defense isn’t on its toes from snap to whistle, expect Streeter to make a defense pay and hit home runs after being bottled up in the front-seven. Acceleration and long-speed are there. Streeter has a self-reported 4.4 40 time, looks like a track sprinter too. Lansdale Catholic is going to have fun deploying Bethea and Streeter pretty much anywhere a skill guy can be positioned. They can get creative, both can serve as DBs, both can run the football, both can run routes. Streeter narrowly missed being ranked inside the top 200 of his class.

Jack Trzeciak Jack Trzeciak 6’2″ | 150 lbs | WR Lansdale Catholic | 2025 State PA is back as a junior two-way player. Can align Trzeciak as an outside lane WR, one that Meehan seems comfortable targetting downfield. Interested in seeing how Trzeciak’s role expands. Bethea and Streeter are speedy wideouts destined to eat up production, expect Trzeciak to be utilized as a hitch-screen recipient down at the LOS for tough hard-earned yards against likely smaller DBs. Expect Jack to serve as a red zone threat too, he’s pushing 6’3 and could eat inside the ten. Let’s not forget about his potential at DB. He might not fit the prototypical OCB build, yet he can get the job done, especially as a tackler.
Gabe Crispo Gabe Crispo DL PA
Gabe Crispo Gabe Crispo DL PA
Lansdale Catholic lost a ton of production from its interior defensive line, mainly kids graduating who has substantial production last Fall. Gabe Crispo Gabe Crispo DL PA , a young man without much tape, without much production, could step into a bigger role as a junior on the team. I’ll be looking for new names to add to the rankings, he might be one down the line.
I could make the case (an easy one) that Yeboa Cobbold is the most physically gifted prospect on the team. We saw him burst onto the scene as a freshman last Fall, with plenty of hype surrounding his name. All the hype led to six interceptions, one that was returned for a touchdown, 20+ total tackles, and exemplary DB work as an all-around football player.
6’1, a well-built 170-pounds, you can find Cobbold working as a two-man or single-high safety. The range, IQ, ball skills, and experience is all there to trust him at this spot. I like his projection to DB at the next level, yet every time he does something special at QB or at WR I often second-guess myself. A supreme athlete, one who I think is a candidate for early-offer consideration. A prospect who would rank inside the top five at DB, ATH, maybe even WR if I’m being honest. Excited to see how Cobbold affects the turf this coming Fall.

This young man took an unnecessary drop on the rankings. If I were him, I wouldn’t worry, we are all guessing as to how special James Webb will be anyways. Soon as we see the young man on the field and a complete tape on Hudl, we’ll know what type of prospect we are dealing with. Lansdale Catholic coaches are buzzing about this kid though, he’s yet another versatile prospect that will likely be stationed in the secondary. 6’2, 155, WR and DB capabilities. The book on Webb hasn’t been written, he’s a reason I’d come out to see LC on Friday/Saturday nights.
Although no seasonal tape, Webb has three receiving scores under his belt, with 120+ yards to his name too.
I’m a bit more familiar with Darren Jackson Darren Jackson 6’3″ | 185 lbs | LB Lansdale Catholic | 2026 State PA than I am with James Webb, so it’s a bit easier for me to project my feelings about the kid via ranking. Talking with coaches at the next level who reciprocate the same notion, I still like Darren Jackson Darren Jackson 6’3″ | 185 lbs | LB Lansdale Catholic | 2026 State PA as an early-offer candidate right there with Yeboa Cobbold.
No tape or production to be had, I might be sticking my neck out on this one but have no problem doing so. 6’3, a good looking 185-pounds, expect Darren Jackson Darren Jackson 6’3″ | 185 lbs | LB Lansdale Catholic | 2026 State PA to play anything from OLB/DB to TE/WR on offense. I sound like a broken record at this point, but Jackson is scheduled to make noise as one of the better athletes in his entire class. I am enamored with his projection to the defensive side of the football, yet I can’t help but think his pass-catching skills could be valued on the other side of the field, especially considering some of the secondaries LC will be matched up against.
Russ Holmes Russ Holmes 6’0″ | 205 lbs | DL Lansdale Catholic | 2026 State PA is a name I’ll have my eye on as a potential name to get ranked down the line. I believe there are some JV reps on tape, some varsity, yet considering the exodus of IDL talent out at LC, I’d imagine Holmes could be a name I can plug a bit more down the line, so long as he sees playing time.
