- through two games, Jacahi Streeter Jacahi Streeter 5’7″ | 160 lbs | ATH Lansdale Catholic | 2025 State PA is your leading rusher at LC. 17 attempts, 123 yards. Scored three touchdowns in the team’s opener, one on the ground, one through the air, as well as a fumble returned for a touchdown. Didn’t catch a ball against SCH but is the team’s third-leading receiver so far, proving he’s an all-around weapon.

- Nine of Cole Meehan Cole Meehan 6’2″ | 190 lbs | QB Lansdale Catholic | 2024 State PA ‘s 28 completions on the year have gone the way of Yeboa Cobbold Jr. Yeboa Cobbold Jr. 6’1″ | 160 lbs | ATH Lansdale Catholic | 2026 State PA . Cobbold put forth the best pass-catching performance of the year from any Crusader in the loss to SCH. Six catches for just under 80 yards. Cobbold has eclipsed the 100-yard mark through two games, with a score, while serving as a quality safety for the program.

- An interception for Chris Ulmer Chris Ulmer 6’3″ | 220 lbs | LB Lansdale Catholic | 2025 State PA logged from his linebacker position, while registering a sack, two TFLs, also leading the team in total tackles through two weeks. Navy and UPenn have re-expressed interest since the beginning of the season.

- love seeing these two work through two weeks. Colin Walker Colin Walker 6’1″ | 210 lbs | LB Conwell-Egan | 2025 State PA has been flying to the football from his OLB/ILB position, getting involved in as many plays as he can. I spoke about wanting to see Walker grow into the position and produce, he’s doing just that so far, presumably leading the team in tackles so far. Stuffing runs between the tackles, a sack registered as well. Walker will fly hash to hash to clean up tackles, hoping he keeps up this tempo.
- Gavin Pond had himself a half against Kensington, absolutely wrecking screens at the LOS, making his presence felt as a drifting LB who can defend against the run or pass. Not sure if I ever remember seeing Pond on offense, but the kid scored from a couple yards out via handoff in this one too. A scoop and score, all carried out by Pond cemented this game for CEC. I know Pond will look back at this one fondly.

- averaging 15 yards a pop, Sam Cooper Sam Cooper 5’11” | 185 lbs | ATH Conwell-Egan | 2024 State PA has toted the rock ten times in two games, racking up 150 yards along the way. Three of those ten carries have gone for scores. Cooper could be churning up stats but was held out of the KT game for the second half. The leading weapon on an offense that is severely struggling to move the ball through the air.

- Kenjai Gatling’s NFL Academy tape has just two views at the time of watching, should have much more. Debut start for the freshman, he went on to complete 7 of his 15 attempts through the air, racking up 150 passing yards with three touchdowns under his belt early. First rep on tape shows Gatling absorbing penetration coming through the A-gaps and ripping off a catchable 40-yard bomb downfield. The next play, Gatling decided to test the NA secondary and toss a dime downfield to his top wideout Jalil Hall Jalil Hall 6’4″ | 190 lbs | WR Bonner & Prendie | 2025 State PA , who located and tracked this ball down like a hawk.
- Jalil Hall Jalil Hall 6’4″ | 190 lbs | WR Bonner & Prendie | 2025 State PA would leave Ireland as the Friar’s leading scorer, coming away with three receiving touchdowns in this one. Hall is coming out of the gate strong, looking to prove us right in saying he’s one of the best junior pass-catchers the state has to offer.

- Here’s a new name that’s intriguing me. Slot corner responsibilities, Mikhail Johnson Mikhail Johnson 5’10” | 170 lbs | ATH Bonner-Prendie | 2025 State PA registered numerous clean-up tackles in the secondary, while also intercepting the NFL Academy’s QB twice in this one. Two interceptions to open the season is noteworthy in itself, yet the tape shows Mikhail toting the rock a couple of times, ripping off two 20-yard runs in what I imagine are limited carry opportunities with the likes of Avery Hankey Avery Hankey 5’8″ | 175 lbs | RB Bonner-Prendie | 2024 State PA and Isaiah Session Isaiah Session 5’10” | 170 lbs | ATH Monsignor Bonner | 2024 State PA on the sideline. I’ll have my eye on this young man moving forward.

- Frankie Mawson has found a new home. Transferring from Archbishop Wood to Ryan, the senior quarterback has produced at a high level despite the team losing both of their opening games to start off the Fall season. The offense is hardly short on weapons, with Werner, Morgan, and Spinelli at Mawson’s disposal.
- Mawson completed 29 of 39 passes Week 0 against Wood, throwing for a whopping 450 yards with four scores to his name. Mawson followed up this performance with a more modest outing, completing 50% percent of his passes against PJP2.

- Damien Morgan and Bryce Werner Bryce Werner 6’1″ | 175 lbs | WR Archbishop Ryan | 2025 State PA are off to hot starts, the Catholic League duo accounting for 30 receptions and 400 yards between the two juniors.
- Morgan and Werner went off against a Wood secondary that had no answer for the duo’s contrasting styles. Love that we have each ranked inside the top 20 at their position, their outputs are proving us right.
- Production was stifled against PJP2, yet Werner still came away with an interception, one he would return for a touchdown. These two are worth a trip to see in person.

- We already highlighted some Cahillites last week, yet the connection forming between Semaj Beals Semaj Beals 6’1″ | 155 lbs | QB Roman Catholic | 2026 State PA and Ash Roberts Ash Roberts 5’10” | 160 lbs | WR Roman Catholic | 2026 State PA is worth noting once again, especially after their performance against Lincoln.
- Beals, going 20 for 35, eclipsed the 300-yard mark against the Railspitters, throwing four touchdowns en route to a 28-14 victory. Ash Roberts Ash Roberts 5’10” | 160 lbs | WR Roman Catholic | 2026 State PA nearly accounted for half of Beals’s 300 yards, catching five balls that went for 130 yards and two touchdowns. Roberts now leads the team in scoring with three receiving touchdowns to his name.
- Many thought Roman would skip a beat without Denmark involved, yet we remind those out of the loop that Ashdan Roberts is arguably just as talented as the top-ranked 2024 prospect.
