Committed to Air Force over the summer, Williams has hit the ground running in these first three weeks. Despite only playing two games, he’s been unstoppable. Last week, he scored four touchdowns in a thriller, and this week, he outdid himself with six touchdowns against Pope John.

Xavier has been running like a man on a mission, showcasing his patience and vision to find gaps and using his breakaway speed to finish. Whether in the open field or at the goal line, he’s proven to be a consistent threat, and Williams is the complete package. He runs the ball effectively and can catch passes out of the backfield and line up as a wide receiver. His versatility makes him an all-around weapon.

The only challenge for him moving forward is refining his pass protection, which could take his game to the next level. But no one has performed better over the first three weeks of New Jersey high school football. Xavier Williams Xavier Williams 5'8" | 180 lbs | RB Paramus Catholic | 2025 State NJ was truly one of my favorite running backs by the end of the 2023 season. Here he is again exceeding expectations as he absolutely decimated St. Peter’s Prep on the ground last Friday. Xavier was fed the ball 30 times and amassed 252 yards and 2 touchdowns. Xavier can hurt defenses through quickness and strength. Xavier is one of those backs that as soon as the ball is within his grasp he accelerates to another level. The speed that Xavier is equipped with can catch defenders off guard and force them to whiff on the tackle. As he runs low to the ground, defenders also have a tough time getting leverage on Xavier. He makes it very challenging for any defender to match or get lower than his pad height. Xavier runs with authority and isn’t afraid to drop the boom on defenders between the tackles. An Air Force commit, Xavier is ready to leave it all out on the field for Paramus Catholic before moving on to the next level.

Running off for 14 touchdowns and 887 yards, Xavier Williams Xavier Williams 5'8" | 180 lbs | RB Paramus Catholic | 2025 State NJ may be one of the players that can bring Paramus Catholic back to prominence. The 2025 RB is incredible with the ball in his hands. Explosive out of the backfield, Xavier hits the hole hard and keeps the speed as he sprints on downfield. With a low center of gravity, Xavier is a nightmare to tackle as he churns his legs through broken tackles. This is one of the top backs in the state.
