Xander has been a player who has made tremendous strides this offseason. I’ve seen him multiple times this offseason from my drop in with OFFA Academy on Saturday mornings to 5v5 competitions at West High and at Providence Hall. Xander is a twitchy, explosive athlete. He has been working as an EDGE rusher and working inside in these settings. He’s taking on lineman that outweigh him a good 30-60 lbs and he is winning reps against them. He has an explosive first step, has the hip bend to win on the edge, shows good power and physicality to win reps on the interior and he is someone who has multiple move sets at his disposal. Big time year is ahead for him.
