Tytan showed how great of an athlete he is. Great size and frame, he is an excellent mover and twitchy for a player his size. He displayed great instincts on both sides of the ball and during the 7’s portion he routinely got opened and showed his strong hands and the ability to create separation and why he’ll be the top target on offense this year. He’s a dynamic athlete and is an exceptional player on both sides of the ball, his physicality, lateral quickness and overall explosivity will make him an impact player at the next level.

Tytan is a pure athlete and will likely end up as a backer at the next level but he is an athlete who shows great strength and physicality. He is an athletic mover, natural instincts on both sides of the ball, and he is a player who is primed to have a huge season on both sides of the ball. If Mountain Ridge wins the 6A State title, Tytan will be the reason for it, make no mistake about it, he is the heart and soul of Mountain Ridge.

Tytan is a pure athlete, he has the size and necessary tools to be effective at any position. From Tight End, EDGE, and as a Linebacker, Tytan is a player who can succeed anywhere. He has the physicality, quickness, the lateral movement and being light on his feet to be a playmaker when he steps on the field. He’s a bully on the offensive side and will carry defenders on his back and as a backer, he diagnoses plays quickly and blows plays up before they develop. Tytan is going to have an exceptional final season.

Tytan should have been named the MVP at the TE position. He had several good reps during the throwing session, including a deep route against a cornerback towards the end of the session. He is a tremendous athlete who is an elite performer. He is one of the best prospects in the 2027 class. He had himself a night.

Tytan is an exceptional athlete and has excellent size and frame. He’s a key weapon on offense and is a physical player who is tough to bring down. This past weekend, with every reception, it took 3+ Westlake defenders to bring him down. He’s been an excellent linebacker/EDGE rusher on defense as well, and has good instincts and does well pressing forward. Further development on the defensive side of the ball will commence. The hybrid LEO role is something where he should excel; being a key situational pass rusher would fit him tremendously. His recruitment should pick up, and he is a Power-Four talent and needs to be viewed as such.

Tytan is an exceptional athlete and is one of the best playmakers on the team. He has string hands, moves well, can be lined up as a bug slot or inline. His skillset allows him to be a mismatch as most linebackers won’t be able to keep up with him and safeties tend to not have the physicality to hold up. He’ll be needed on both sides of the ball for Mountain Ridge to pull off a big road win.

Dejong will need to be dominant on both sides of the ball for Mountain Ridge to stay close. Offensively, he’ll need to take advantage of the backer that will be on him and use his athleticism to get open.

Dejong is the best athlete for Mountain Ridge and he was a force as the top offensive weapon. He is a natural hands catcher and moves well athletically. He was a player who made plays all night long and will be someone that will continue to garner D1 offers.

DeJong is an exceptional athlete and is expected to be a two-way player this year. He has great size and frame and should be able to add on some additional weight. Offensively, he showcases good footwork, has good hip fluidity, and is a natural hands catcher who is strong at the catch point. During the West showcase, he was chosen as the receiver for Mountain Ridge during the QB skills. That shows the athleticism that he brings; while the other teams used their WR1, he was the one selected. Defensively, he uses his athleticism and has good reactionary skills; he doesn’t get lost in coverage or in space and does well in zone coverage. He is best suited to be an attacking backer and might end up being a hybrid on-ball backer and edge rusher in key passing situations. Great upside and should garner Power-Four offers.

DeJong had an exceptional evening and was making plays for the 90+ minute duration. He was used as one of the receivers during the throwing session for the Quarterbacks and showcases great footwork and speed with soft hands and easily catches outside of his frame. During the 1v1’s he showcased his route running and physicality as he won many of his reps and he also participated in the 5v5 linemen drills and showcased his explosiveness, lateral quickness and overall physicality. He’s a player who should continue to play both sides of the ball, a tremendous talent and a Power-Four level prospect for the 2027 class.
