Viewing Remmert as a receiver on the next level makes a lot of sense. He’s good at it. But with the looser definition of running backs these days, that also could be his college home, depending on the system. Either way, he’s a good football player that brings play-making ability on offense. His skills and athleticism also work well on defense and special teams. He rushed the ball 10 times for 84 yards and a touchdown in 2024, and caught 30 passes for 566 yards and five scores. He collected seven solo tackles, and averaged 24.6 yards on nine kick returns, one of which he took to the house. Remmert’s highlights are fun to watch. He is football fast, proving to be a major problem for the opponent when he gets the ball with any space. He accelerates and hits high speed in a hurray.
Will Remmert took over as the No. 1 WR for the Tigers in 2024, and he proved to be a steady target for the team’s modest passing game. Remmert finished with 30 catches for 566 yards, and accounted for 5 of the 11 total touchdown receptions from Cedar Falls’ receivers last season. Remmert is an impressively fluid route-runner with game-breaking speed, and he seems to accelerate even faster after the catch, leaving his defenders completely burnt. His speed and quick change of direction also makes him a sneaky all-purpose threat, providing value in the return game, as well as on a 48 yard touchdown run off a reverse this season. Remmert will have a much bigger role in his senior year for the offense following the departure of star RB Davarrion ClarkDavarrionClark

, meaning the passing game should receive more emphasis in 2025.
Remmert (5-10, 170) has a lot in his tool box. He can gash opponents taking a handoff or after catching a pass, as you can see watching his 10-grade highlight video. He’s showing again this spring that speed is an important part of his game. He’s running the 100 (11.07) and 200 (22.68) for the Tigers track team after competing on two relays as a freshman at last year’s state meet. On the football field in the fall, Remmert rushed 52 times for 255 yards and four touchdowns to go with 17 receptions for 263 yards and a pair of scores. He’s really dangerous in space, and Cedar Falls does a good job getting him there.
