With a crowded varsity receiver room in one of the state’s top programs, Manahl developed as a member of the Cedar Falls’ freshman team during 2025. The Tigers are graduating three of their top four receivers from last fall, opening up opportunities for younger players. Manahl provides evidence that he could be a guy capable of taking advantage of the availability during his ninth-grade highlight video. On the first clip, Cason catches a ball on a 20-yard crossing route, makes defenders miss in space, breaks a few tackles and picks up about 60 yards on the play. On the second clip, he hauls in a fade route over a defender near the goal-line for a 25-yards touchdown. We then see him make a pair of acrobatic interceptions in the middle of the field. There’s a lot of speed and athleticism here with a projectable frame that puts Manahl on the radar as a breakout prospect for 2026, one colleges would be wise to start tracking yesterday.
