Opting to stay home and play for UNI, Cedar Falls’ Jude Hazell Jude Hazell 6'5" | 220 lbs | TE Cedar Falls | 2027 IA turned his frame and potential into a Division I scholarship offer, despite not putting up a ton of stats during his junior year with the Tigers.

Grabbing just one reception for two yards, Hazell’s 6-foot-5, 220-pound frame was enough to garner attention from the Panthers, and though he didn’t fill up the box score, Hazell was a dominant blocker for CF last fall.

Not letting those physical gifts go to waste, Hazell was a ferocious blocker in the run game, completely taking out defensive ends and EDGEs from the play and paving the way for Tiger ball-carriers to break off chunk plays or score.

A new name on the block after adding his first offer from Norhtern Iowa on Monday, 6-foot-5 and 220-pound tight end out of Cedar Falls, Jude Hazell Jude Hazell 6'5" | 220 lbs | TE Cedar Falls | 2027 IA is another name to keep tabs on for us this fall.

Not putting up much for stats during his junior campaign, Hazell served as more of a blocking tight end, getting out in front of running backs out of the backfield for Cedar Falls. Setting the edge and turning his primary assignment away from the ball, Hazell showed the ability to manhandle defenders and push them where he wanted them to go.

With a frame like Hazell has, it would be a surprise if the Tigers don’t factor him more into the offense this coming season as a pass-catcher with what one can assume is a wide catch radius.
