The youngster on a senior-laden O-Line, Bishop has no problem hanging with the older guys. Like them, he’s a physical front man with a polished game. Bishop has steadily improved through his prep career, and really took a step forward from last season to this one. Like Wolf, his potential should be exciting for scouts on the next level. Bishop is more advanced in the run game than he is pass pro right now, but that’s normal for an interior blocker at this stage of this career. Also, he’s a really strong run-blocker.

Cedar Falls long has been one of the state’s top programs at winning and producing college talent. Ike Boettger, Ross Pierschbacher and Jack Campbell are alums on NFL rosters. It’s a good idea to check on their talent when ranking prep players in Iowa. As you can see while watching his sophomore highlight video, Bishop embraces the physicality at his position. He plays with good pad level and drives through opponents with a strong base. He’s athletic and squares up linebackers in space. During the few clips of him pass blocking, he illustrates solid technique with his feet and hands.
