Outside X/Z. Very tall receiver prospect with a chance to be really good. Has prototypical size and height for the position. More of a linear route runner, but has good speed and burst to get behind coverages and get open for his quarterback. Flashes solid top-end juice especially after the catch. Nifty with good change-of-direction. Breakout junior season will boost recruiting.

Haddad is a versatile weapon on the outside of the St. Ignatius offense. He does great job of getting free releases off the line of scrimmage. Once into his route he uses subtle but explosive breaks to create leverage and separation. One thing that stood out to me about Trey’s film was his ability to track the ball and be a hands catcher without breaking stride. Very excited to see his film this fall and see how he continues to develop physically and to see him turn into a go-too receiver for the Wildcats.

I usually try to stay away from family dynamics and the recruitment of high school football players because regardless of where a players siblings or parents played, I like giving each player an opportunity to blaze their own paths. Sometimes however it’s simply unavoidable. This is the case with

. Trey’s dad, Drew, played at Buffalo and then played several years in both the NFL and also NFL Europe. His Grandfather was a first round pick in the NFL draft and he had an uncle who played at Purdue and an uncle who played in the NFL coming from both sides of his parents families. His older brother Cody is a 2025 who’s committed to play at Wisconsin. His oldest brother is a wide receiver at D3 football power John Carroll University. So to say the Haddad’s are a “football family” would be the understatement of all understatements.
Trey is a long and athletic receiver who already look of a polished route runner. A lot of time with younger receivers they survive on simply being the better athlete and sometimes their skill and technique can lag a little behind. The is not the case with Haddad. He shows good footwork on his releases. He does a great job of using tempo to set up the defender going into his breaks, and then has the explosiveness to create separation in and out of his breaks. With the ball in his hands he’s a sudden runner who shows solid change of direction skills and the ability to make yards after the catch. At Ignatius he will have the opportunity to put his skills on display against some of the best teams Ohio has to offer. Family success aside, Trey has a fantastic opportunity to make forge his own path. This offseason he’ll have the opportunity to jump onto the D1 recruiting scene.

The youngest Haddad boy has had plenty of time to watch, listen and learn from next-level football players in the greater Cleveland area. The football lineage is about as good as it gets on both sides of his family. On his Mother’s side: Grandfather was a first-round pick and played eight years in the NFL; One of his uncle’s played at Syracuse, while another uncle played four years in the league and won a Super Bowl with the Colts. On the other side of the family tree, his Father Drew Haddad, played parts of five seasons in the NFL and CFL. His oldest brother Brady Hadded will be at D3 John Carroll University starting this fall, while middle brother Cody Haddad Cody Haddad 6'0" | 175 lbs | DB St. Ignatius | 2025 State OH is currently ranked our #32 player in Ohio for the class of 2025 and is quickly closing in on 10 D1 offers since February. Scary enough, Trey looks to be the fastest and most athletic of the three brothers. Can take a slant to the house unlike many other 2027 prospects at this point. The multi-sport athlete will join brother Cody at Saint Ignatius High School in the fall.
