Carter missed most of his junior season due to injury. In his senior season he would come for everything he missed helping lead Ironton to the state championship game. Though the Tigers would fall short in that game Carter finished what was a great high school career. Trevor is a 6’1 205 pound hybrid linebacker. He has the speed and athleticism to make plays in both the run and passing games. He has the speed and the pursuit to fly around and make plays behind the line of scrimmage. Once he reads and fires, he gets to the ball in a hurry. He also has the feet and the hips to drop and run in coverage. I think the Bearcats will look to put some weight on Carter and get him up into the 220-225 range. Where he can still run and cover, but can also set an edge in the run game.
