Henderson brings a throwback presence to the middle of the defense as a downhill linebacker who thrives on physicality and contact. Strong, powerful, and aggressive, he plays with a mentality built to stop the run first, attacking gaps with force and delivering punishing hits when he meets ball carriers in the hole. His background as a wrestler and powerlifter clearly translates to the field. He plays with excellent leverage, grip strength, and the ability to control and finish tackles, making him a true “thumper” in the box.
What separates Henderson even further is that he moves better than you might expect for a player with his build and style. Compared to his older brother, he shows fluidity and agility, allowing him to flow sideline-to-sideline more effectively and stay involved in a wider range of plays. Which probably gives some good conversation at the family dinner table on who is doing it better. While his game is rooted in old-school toughness, that added mobility gives him more versatility and upside, making him a tone-setting defender who can impact the game beyond just between the tackles.

As the chatter in the press box agreed, he has a chance to contribute early in high school — even if it’s just Special Teams. He has a nose for the ball and thrives on contact.
