While he’s most effective in man coverage, he’s an excellent downhill defensive back and has demonstrated his ability to stuff a ball carrier at the line of scrimmage. Likewise, Jones often out-physicals his opposing receiver, stuffing them on the line of scrimmage and winning blocks during run plays. He’s also light on his feet and can chase down ball carriers as the last line of defense.
