had some nice plays as a Safety. Despite a stellar day from 8th Grade Tennessee Future Stars Quarterback Cullen Hayden and the Volunteer State offense as a whole, Brown had his moments. He (unofficially) finished with a pair of tackles in the game, and made an excellent pass breakup on a deep ball that very easily could have gone for a TN touchdown.

. Brown attended our PRZ Next Middle School Combine in Tennessee last May and got some positive notes from local scouts with boots on the ground. He followed it up with a strong eighth-grade season that saw him end up on the Division 2 Regional Player of the Year Honorable Mention. Brown looks like he has grown considerably over the last year and his straight line speed has unquestionably increased. He was a favorite target of Gates–and it was clear to see why.
