Starting late in the second quarter, Knapp was all over the Cardinals’ offensive line and was a big reason the Cadets’ defense dominated in the second half. Knapp got off a block and made a tackle for a short loss. He used quick penetration to pick up a second tackle for loss. Working laterally down the line of scrimmage from his defensive end position, he made a tackle for no gain on the inside. He would continue his dominating second half, beating a blocker and getting penetration for a tackle for loss and again for another tackle for no gain.

Teddy showed off some captivating agility with his quick trigger off the snap from the handful of reps I got to watch out of him at the North Dakota Flagship Camp. His football IQ meshed well with his instincts and vision in the 1v1 reps I watched, as Teddy showed off plenty of range as well as a defensive end that can tread to the outside edges when you need him to get to the ball carrier as his range was one of the biggest ones I caught in my live evaluation up in Grand Forks. At 6’4 225 pounds, Teddy shows mostly offensive reps on his junior tape, however after watching him at UND he certainly trends towards an EDGE rusher at the Division I level. Teddy was certainly a DE prospect that rose his stock way up from his performance in Grand Forks in my eyes. Twitter

St. Thomas Academy, which was recently named one of Minnesota’s 10 best hotbeds of talent from the 2000s in our PRzMN mega-feature from earlier this month, has a loaded roster going into 2023 and has prospects abound in the latest 2024 official rankings update. A high-profile RB/FB combo, a scholarship-level QB, and a well-built and uber-experienced OL group are made even stronger by 6’4, 220 lb. TE, OT, and defensive lineman

. A captain for the ’23 season and an All-District pick from last fall, Knapp rose 23 spots into the Top 100 at #95 overall and brings length, physicality, and a nasty streak to the table as a blocker. Hand placement, leg drive, and motor all look good, and Knapp looks like he loves mixing it up in the run-blocking game and reacts well to what opposing defensive linemen give him and using it against them. Still is growing into a solid frame and has a ton more room to grow as well. He’s visited San Diego, Wyoming, and Northern Iowa so far this offseason.
