Expert Analysis
Connor Jackson | Prep Redzone Scout
After a few tough starts to his junior season, Jarrard has somehow quietly played really well down the stretch and led North Cobb to another region title. Jarrard could be the most physically gifted passer in the state from a traits standpoint. Everything he does looks easy as a passer, and he isn’t a shabby athlete either. I wouldn’t consider him a runner, but he is enough of an athlete to shift around chaos and make plays on the move. North Cobb will look to carry momentum over into the playoffs, and I am excited to see how Jarrard performs on a bigger stage.

(+) Tall, lean prospect with room to get bigger. Real fluid, clean mechanics. Snappy hips. Natural arm talent, can work different angles on the move. Has some flashes of backyard football on tape. Can buzz the ball even when he can’t follow through on his throws. Ball comes out with some life, and all levels of the field are reachable. He hits his layups. Real easy, pretty thrower. Not a super twitchy athlete, but a better runner in space than he gets credit for. Build up to speed runner with his long strides. (-) Tends to hold onto the ball a tick too long, allowing DBs to crash downhill.
Power Statement: Prototype QB with a massive frame and clean mechanics. Everything he does looks easy. He generates easy buzz on the ball with and without a clean base. Has improved with age and as he has grown into his huge frame. Jarrard is the premier pure pocket passer in GA’s 2027 class and is capable of easily dispensing the ball around the yard.

One of the top quarterback prospects in Georgia, Jarrard continues to add major offers, earning two big ones over the weekend from the in-state Georgia Bulldogs and the Ohio State Buckeyes. The big 6-foot-4 200-pounder is a good athlete with natural arm talent. He has one of the strongest arms you’ll find across the South in the 2027 class and bound for a giant junior season for North Cobb. Look for him to be one of the state’s leading passers during the 2025 season.

GA
enters the 2025 season as one of the most highly anticipated additions to the North Cobb roster. A 4-star quarterback ranked 22nd overall in the state and the 20th-best QB according to Rivals, Jarrard brings big-time pedigree and next-level poise to the position. After transferring from North Cobb Christian, he immediately adds firepower to the Warriors’ offense. Last season, he put up eye-popping numbers — throwing for 2,647 yards, 31 touchdowns, and only 5 interceptions, with an outstanding 128.2 quarterback rating. His ability to read defenses, deliver with precision, and make smart decisions under pressure makes him a true difference-maker.
Known as a pure pocket passer with an elite arm, Jarrard commands the field with maturity beyond his years. Whether he’s hitting tight windows on timing routes or dropping deep balls with touch, his throwing ability is on full display every snap. With his arrival, North Cobb now features a lethal quarterback duo that can stretch the field vertically and keep defenses honest. If Jarrard builds chemistry with his receivers and adapts quickly to the system, he has the potential to elevate North Cobb’s offense to championship caliber — and be one of the most talked-about QBs in Georgia 6A football this season.

One of the more productive 2027 quarterbacks in Georgia last fall, Jarrard is a bigger passer with impressive footwork and pocket presence when scanning the field. He throws a quick, accurate ball with enough arm strength to push the ball vertically down the field. He understands the position, makes correct reads, and can make a number of different passes all over the field. He’s coming off a fantastic sophomore season where he played like an experienced veteran, throwing for an impressive 2,647 yards and 31 touchdowns. He’s the No. 4 QB in the state for his class and earned a big recent offer from Auburn.

Another impressive outing for the 6’3 200 North Cobb Christian signal caller. The Top 5 dual threat QB prospect completed 8 of 11 passes for 62 yards and a TD and added 18 yards on the ground with a score.
Outlook: Jarrad continues to improve with each outing. His natural size, speed and arm strength will make him an attractive target for D1 recruiters.

Not much to say about Jarrad, he continues to get better and better every time we see him. He looks the part off the bus at 6’3 200, long and lean and carries his weight well and could be around the 220 mark before his high school career is done. Excellent decision maker with a laser for an arm, good touch on the downfield throws and has deceptive speed with his legs if the play breaks down.
Outlook: Already ranked as the Top 4 QB in the 2027 class and has the potential to climb those rankings next Fall. At this point in his high school career you would have to say he is a can’t miss prospect at the next level.

The #2 overall QB in the 2027 Class by PRZ. Jarrad has been on our radar for several years now and has lived up to the expectations.
Jarrad has next level height and is starting to fill out his frame. Has good velocity on the short passes and can put a soft touch on the deep throws. When I saw him in person earlier this season I was impressed with his poise in the pocket and he surprised me with his ability to get positive yards with his legs. Good upside with P4 potential as he grows over the next 2 seasons.
